I woke up the next morning and felt Austin's arm wrapped around my naked body. I smiled to myself and turned to him, smiling. He smiled back and brushed his lips against mine. We wrapped our arms around each other and I could feel the passion building up inside of me. Round two was beginning.
"Mmm, Austin, that was the best way to bring that stupid brother of yours down," I said resting my head on his chest while he played with my hair.
                              "That was."
"I hate to say this but you should probably get going now. The last thing I want is my teammates to see you leaving so hurry and please don't act suspiciously." Every bit of that was true and that  was a fact.
"But I don't want to leave you."
"We'll see each other at the game and practice."
                              "But we're on different teams,"
"I'll figure something out, Nola. Now go."
"Fine. Bye, beautiful." Much to my disappointment he got up and dressed and quietly left. I kissed him a quick goodbye just before he closed the door.
                              Austin POV
My head was throbbing and I was exhausted but I didn't regret a minute of last night. Words can't explain how much it meant to wake up and have Abigail lying next to me. Even when she told me to leave I was still in an amazing mood. Then as I was walking out the door and just as I closed it,one of her teammates spotted me. Great just what she was saying she didn't want.
"Good morning," I said awkwardly and I immediately recognized him as Odubel Herrera, the center fielder who I had accidentally threatened the other day, which definitely was not about to help my current situation.
"Aren't you Nola's brother, the Marlins shortstop?"
                              "Yeah, I am Austin."
"Then why are you leaving what I believe is Abigail's room?" At first, he was completely puzzled and then he put two and two together and this sly, sinister smile showed up on his face.
"It is not what it looks like, which I know it looks bad, but it's not. She was really drunk last night so I had to make sure she'd be ok and I fell asleep. But please don't tell people! I do not need them thinking anything weird like that, particularly with my brother." He smiled in a way that I knew was not a good sign I could trust him and then he walked past me.
"Have a good day, Austin Nola."
I barely got to  practice on time and I was assuming that Abigail wouldn't be on time either.
"Look  who finally decided to show up! What happened to you last night, rookie?" The second baseman, Dee Gordon asked. "You went out with that girl and then you were gone." I sent him a warning glare to let him know to not mention the fact that I had slept with the Phillies pitcher, Abigail. It would be a mess if the media found out because then my brother, Aaron would find out and that would be world war 3.
"Sorry I'm a late coach, the late night celebrating."
"It's fine, you earned it." The coach, Don Mattingly said.
                              Abigail POV
I rolled my eyes when I heard voices in the hallway, Austin had found Odubel. Shoot!  I grabbed a cap and my running clothes and got changed for my run. After the 5 mile run, I went and got a smoothie and ate a piece of toast. Then I got into my practice outfit and before I knew it I was out the door, headed to practice. I was in such a hurry I didn't really stop to think about my cap and whether or not it was my team's logo on it and not the opposing one. On a normal day, I shouldn't have to stop and think that so naturally my brain was trained to not even give it the slightest thought. I never slept with opposing players, I never slept with ball players. I never dated anyone on either or any team but I especially didn't date opposing players, I would not and could not. If I thought an opposing player was cute I'd just ignore it and forget about it, Austin was an exception.
"Good morning Abigail," Cameron said when he greeted me.
"Hey." We went over to warm up and for some reason, he kept looking at me weird.
"Abigail, can I ask you something?"
                              "Yeah?"
"Why do you have a Marlins cap on?"
                              "I don't..."
"Take off your cap." I took it off and looked at the logo and my jaw literally dropped. My face started getting heated, it was Austin's cap.
                              "Uh..."
"Ab is there something you aren't telling me, like about what happened last night."
                              "I don't know what you're talking about."
"Abigail, you're wearing a Miami Marlins cap and we're playing them right now. You are pretty close with their shortstop, Austin Nola. Also, you are currently in a fight with the guy you like. You and Austin Nola got drunk last night. Based on the facts y'all probably hooked up after the game celebration." My face turned even redder and he laughed. I covered my face with my hands so he wouldn't see just how embarrassed I was.
"Cameron, I swear if you tell anyone, I am going to kill you."
                              "So it's true!"
"Yes, Cameron!" I yelled and he just smiled smugly.
"Good to know... Now I'll go tell his brother!" He said as he began running around, searching for Austin.
"No Cameron! Please no!" I ran after him, chasing him around the clubhouse and reaching my hand out to stop him.
"Hey Aaron!" He yelled at Aaron who was looking at something on his phone with the same solemn  expression he had had on since the fight.
"What?" Aaron sounded so annoyed and I didn't like it all.
"Abigail has something she wants to tell you!"
"What?! No, I don't!" Aaron rolled his eyes and sighed, those blue eyes that I fell in love with, curse those stupid eyes.
                              "What is it, guys?"
                              "Abigail slept with-"
