Chapter 20

"Raven? Hello?"

I smile.

"Sorry," I say innocently, making Sophie grin.

I was so wind up in my own thoughts about Sophie being a Supernatural that I kind of zoomed out of the real world.

"What time is it?" Sophie asks.

I quickly switch my iPhone 6 on.

"It's 9:00," I answer, switching my iPhone 6 off.

"Shouldn't we be going now?" Alex asks.

It's the first time he's talked since we've gotten gone to the bar.

"I guess so. So it's either the director's nice or...he's still asleep himself," I reply.

Just as I say it, the director bursts into the room.

"We're late! Hurry, hurry! Out of here, out of here! We need to get to the set! Get out! We're late already!" the director shouts, forcing everybody out of the bar.

"Come on, Sophie. Don't lose me, okay?" I say quietly.

I grasp the little girl's hand while my other one slips into Alex's. We follow the crowd out the hotel and to the six vans outside that are used to bring all of the actors and actresses to where we'll be shooting today. I climb into a white van, followed by Sophie, then Alex. Bella eventually gets in the same car as us too. The driver sits in the front by himself, Bella and Sophie sit in the middle and Alex and I sit at the back.

"You'd be a good mother," I hear Alex whisper, as the car engine starts.

I smile.

"I think you'd be a good father," I answer softly.

No one has heard out quiet conversation.

"Raven, where are we going today?" Sophie asks me.

"We're shooting the scene where Riley, Lena and a couple of other Duchannes' are talking about Ridley. Then Ridley randomly shows up and gets mad. She starts Casting until Ethan comes and basically saves us all," I explain.

"That wasn't in the books," Sophie states, confused.

"I know. The producers decided to just add it in for some reason," I respond.

"Okay then."

A peaceful silence falls between the four of us, the only sound comes from the soft hum of the engine.

When we arrive at the Ravenwood/Duchannes house, we all take our places and we start filming.

"Ridley hasn't been home since the last time Ethan visited," Riley (Sophie) says.

"I know. We never expected her to be here," Reece (played by a girl named Elles) adds.

"She's never meddled with the Light before. Ever since...ever since she turned Dark. I...she was the one that brought Ethan here. He...why did she come?" Riley asks.

I shrug.

"Ethan didn't mean to come. He was controlled by Ridley. I don't even know why she was here. I thought she lived with Sarafine," I answer.

"Me too. But like, uh...I mean, she doesn't...um...I would never think she would come here and...er...um...uh..." Riley stutters.

"Cut!"

"Sorry," Sophie murmurs, turning red.

I pat her on the back lightly.

"It's okay. Everyone makes mistakes," I reassure her.

After a long day of acting, we still haven't finished the scene yet because Sophie keeps on messing up or we all end up laughing when Bella attempts a wicked laugh.

On our way back to the hotel, Alex whispers something to me.

"Meet me at my room."
