I stay up all night, not being able to fall asleep. I just sit on my bed, bored and exhausted but not sleepy.
"Did I also mention we don't sleep?" I hear a seductive voice whisper in my ear, soft lips brushing my ear.
I scowl, and look at the smirking boy behind me. Sitting on my bed.
"What do you want, Supernatural?" I demand.
"It's Blake," the boy answers.
"What do you want, Blake?" I snap.
Blake grins but doesn't say anything.
"You," he answers.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I demand.
Blake shrugs but then I get what he meant by me.
"Um...Blake?" I say timidly, as a thought comes to mind.
"Yes?" he asks.
"Have you ever had a girlfriend?"
I mentally slap myself for asking that. Why do I even care? I hate him, so why would I be asking him?
"No," Blake responds casually.
"Why?" I ask, stretching out the one-syllable word.
"Because I've been waiting for you."
My eyes widen.
"What?" I almost shout, but I remember that my family's sleeping right at the last moment.
"I like you," Blake says, shrugging.
I don't know what to say.
"Why?" I stutter.
"Dark purple eyes, soft black hair, pale face, soft blush on your cheeks, who wouldn't like that?" Blake replies.
"So you just care about looks?" I ask, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Sweet, sassy, sarcastic. Kinda a bad girl too. Smart," Blake elaborates.
"Since when?"
"Since I saw you say your first word."
Since my first word, eh? Which was 'no', by the way. I was tired of just pouting when my parents made me do something I didn't want to do so I quickly learned the word 'no' so I could snap back at them.
"Oh really?" I purr.
Blake smiles but doesn't answer.
I lean in. He leans in. I touch my lips to his soft, sweet ones for a moment then I pull back.
"That will be the one time, ever. Remember it and cherish it. The one moment that maybe I felt something for you. Maybe love. But other than that, what the heck are you doing in my room?" I tell Blake.
Blake grins, and leans in. He presses his lips against mine roughly, and I surprisingly kiss him back. I wrap my arms around his neck, as his hands pull my hips closer to his. I press hard forward, knocking him over. I lie down on top of him, not breaking the kiss. When we pull apart, I laugh.
"Maybe that won't be the only time," I whisper.
Blake smiles a lopsided smile.
"But that'll be all for today," I add.
Blake chuckles, and gets off my bed.
"Want me to go?" he asks.
"No," I answer. "What else am I supposed to do all night then?"
The rest of the night, we're talking. Not about Supernatural stuff. About normal stuff, like normal teenagers. If only we could both be that normal every moment of every day.
