"You think you got me all figured out don't you?" He says through gritted teeth. "Well listen here, princess. Before you go off saying that you know me better than to apologize, take a fucking step back and realize you know nothing about me."

The long school day finally came to an end. Liam offered me a ride home, but Ava and me had plans to go shopping. Right when Liam walked away to his car, Ava decided to speak. "I wasn't able to bring this up earlier today because Blondie was always around. But you two are getting pretty flirty here lately,"
"Shut up!" I giggled. "He might still be in hearing range,"
"Even if he heard us it wouldn't matter. He likes you too, it's obvious. He doesn't even try to hide it,"
"Can we not talk about it, please?"
She stopped talking about it. She knows I hate talking about. Shortly after, we arrived at the mall. We planned on eating in food court since we didn't feel like driving to two different places. As we ate in comfortable silence, occasionally talking about our day, we decided to get up and head over to the stores. We stopped by and bought matching shirts, because we wanted to be basic. But, we also decided to go try on dresses for the winter formal coming up in a couple months.
"What color are you going for?" I asked Ava as we entered the store.
"I was thinking white or a blushy pink. What ever catches the eye. What about you?"
"Maybe a nude color? I don't know," I laughed. "I'm too indecisive," while I say this someone catches my eye. And it's no one other than Sawyer.
"Really?" I let out a frustrated sigh.
"What is it?" Ava asked concerned.
"Nothing, I guess. It's just Sawyer is over there. And he already gave me a hard time today." I began. "Now he's here and I know he's gonna notice we're here. And then guess what? He's gonna start something. Like he always does." I ranted.
"Are you done now?" She laughed. Ava walked up to me hold a dress in her hand. "Just go try this on,"
"Fine, but if he starts coming towards you. Run." I joked.
I waked toward the dressing rooms to try on this long, nude, long sleeved dress. It had lace placed beautifully from the waist to the bust, and randomly over the arms. Then jeweled along the same areas, with a simple skirt at the bottom to balance it out. It was gorgeous to say the least. (A/N: pic below of dress)

I was shocked. It needed to be taken in a little around the bust; because let's be honest here, I was not gifted in the boob area. I was smiling like a fool at how how beautiful this dress was. I was walking out of the dressing room to show Ava her amazing find. Until I ran into a tall figure while I was too excited to watch were I was going.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" I said to the guy's back, cause he still has yet to turn around.
"It's fine don't worry about-" he started as he turned to face me. "Wait, it's just you," he said with a disgusted face.
"No need to be rude, Sawyer. Wait, is that the second time you've heard that today? Has it still not gone through your thick scull?" I argued.
"Does your thick padding in your bra still not fill out that dress?" He says smirking.
"You little pr-" I got interrupted by Ava covering my mouth to stop the profanity from coming out.
"Omg, Peyton! This dress looks great on you, doesn't it Sawyer?" She said while still covering my mouth.
Sawyer scoffed. "The overweight biker outside could pull it off better," he laughed.
I was about to blow. I elbowed Ava in the side causing her to remove her hand from my mouth in pain.
"Listen here, bud. I don't know what crawled up your butt and died. But, I'm definitely not in the mood for it. So why don't you back off and stop insulting me with every chance you get!" I yelled.
I didn't know I yelled that loud until a worker of the store forced me back into the dressing room to change back into my normal clothes and pushed Ava, Sawyer, and I out.
"Great job, guys. Now I won't be able to try on a dress. I was eyeing a really pretty one, before you two starting bickering." Ava snapped.
"If it wasn't for this one right here," I said pointing to Sawyer. "Insulting me, we wouldn't be out here."
"Ah, come on. You and I both know you enjoyed our little argument back there," he winked.
Did he really have the nerve to wink at me? I was about to bite back with a sarcastic remark , but Ava took me away before I was able too.
"I swear, you two have alway fought like kindergarteners who like each other and are just mean to each other because you like one another. It's quite sad actually."
"We do not like each other. Trust me. He's just the most infuriating person to walk on earth." I sighed, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.
"He might be. But you fight back just as bad."
"Whatever," I rolled my eyes.
We walked back to to the parking lot to get into Ava's car. She drove me home while we listened to some oldies that are still goodies. At least in our opinion. We sang and danced to the music until we pulled up to my front gate.
"Thanks for driving me home, and dealing with the whole mall commotion." I laughed.
"You're welcome." She let out a soft laugh. "Now get out, I need to get home before my mom kills me for being one millisecond late."
"Okay," I shut the car door and leaned into the open window.
"Goodbye, love you."
"Love you, too"
I backed away from the car and she drove off. I positioned the bags from the mall in my hands more comfortably so I could open the gate. I walked into my house, and was greeted by my mother and father. I kissed them goodnight and went on up to bedroom and set down my bags. I got ready for bed, and laid down. I began to charge my phone and saw I had a missed texted from Chris, a friend from school.
From Chris Hey Pey, I'm having a party this Saturday at my house. You should come by and hang for a while.
I replied with a simple "Sure, I'd love too!" And with that I went to sleep.
