"Peyton?" He yelled.
I then realized who there were.
"Sawyer?" I whispered in shock.
"What the fuck are you doing in here?"
"Oh, I don't know," I said starting to get to aggravated with him since my hangover is basically melting my brain. "I just decided to chill with you in here all in my naked glory."
"Shit." He whispered while running his hands through his mess hair.
"Can we just forget this happened?" I pleaded.
"Ohhh, we wouldn't want your little lover boy getting upset now would we?" He smirked.
"That's not the point, moron. The point is, this," I say while pointing back and forth between us. "Was a huge mistake."
"What was a mistake, sweetheart? Cause I know for sure I made no mistake when I heard you moaning about my--"
"Say one more thing and you won't have anything to make a girl moan," I said while putting my clothes back on.
"Is that a threat, Anderson?" He says watching me.
"It's a promise, Peters." I narrow my eyes at him.
I left him there on the bed and tried to find my way out of the house. It wasn't too hard since I've been here a few times before. But I've always stayed in the living room and kitchen and left after I was done with the fun at the party.
I honestly can't believe I let myself go that far with Sawyer. Yes, he's attractive. But like I've said before, he's trouble. And I most definitely didn't want to get myself into the depths of never ending hell of trying to tame Sawyer. The only thing I need to do from now on is make sure I keep my distance. Which won't be too hard. I only have 2 out of 8 classes with him, and then just make sure to keep an extra eye out during outings.

I should've known it wasn't going to be easy. I was sitting in English class when 'who shall not be named' walks in, strutting in like he owns the school, turns to look at me and say to me with a smirk on his face, "Sorry I didn't use a condom," that was the day when Sawyer Dean Peters got bitch slapped in front of all his 'misunderstood' friends.
I ran out of the class room trying to hold back the tears. That was until I heard that bastard yell my name.
"Peyton!"
"What do you want?" I yell through the tears. "Want to embarrass me even more? Well I'm sorry Sawyer, but this time you won't have an audience."
"I'm sorry." He says while walking towards me until he was only a foot away. "I was joking. And I know it was an ass of a move. But please believe me when I say I'm sorry."
"Why should I believe you? You humiliated me in front of 40 people. And it wasn't just some normal joke to tease me. You brought up that night that I told you to not to. So no. I won't believe you're sorry. I know better than to believe that you would ever apologize to anyone,". I say trying to step away. I couldn't, because he grabbed my wrist trying to hold me back.
"You think you got me all figured out don't you?" He says through gritted teeth. "Well listen here, princess. Before you go off saying that you know me better than to apologize, take a fucking step back and realize you know nothing about me." He pulled me closer and leaned down to my ear. "Also know you can't tell me we what to do." He backed away and started back to the front doors. I knew he wasn't coming back to school. I was surprised he was even here for the time he was.
I walked on back to class and apologized for leaving so abruptly. She understood and gave my work. She also asked where Sawyer went and I told her I didn't know. But she also knew he left and wasn't coming back.
When the bell rung to signal it was time for lunch, I threw myself out of my seat and towards the cafeteria. Once I got there Liam was sitting there next to Ava talking. Which is very weird. The only time I ever see those two converse is when I force Ava to walk up to him with me and back me up like a wing women.
Once I got up to the table with my lunch, they shut up.
"Hey" I say with a smile.
"Hey" they both say. And might I just add, it was a little too fast.
I decided against bringing up the awkwardness at the table, so I just started to stuff my face with my turkey sandwich. That bliss was shortly ended by Liam opening his mouth.
"I heard what happened last period,"
"So? It's just Sawyer being Sawyer. What's the big deal?" I say trying to take another bite, but being interrupted again.
"It's a big deal when you run out crying." He says getting agitated.
"Which only means it true if it hit you that hard," Ava spoke out of no where.
"Wow. Step back about fifteen fucking steps." I felt myself heating up. "Who do you think you are meddling into my life like that? If I wanted you to, I would've told you. And you," I say pointing at Liam. "Don't try to act so big all the time. We both know you wouldn't do anything. You're all talk and no action." I packed up my stuff and started to leave the table. "Have a good day." I say with a sarcastic smile.
They both just sat there with surprised, yet guilty faces. I might've latched out too hard, but I'm not quite in the mood for everyone's input right now. Especially when it seemed to be heading in an insulting manner from my own friend.
I went to the rest of my classes and still no sign of Sawyer. I don't even know why I looked for him. But some part of me was curious. Which I hate to say. I need to keep this curiousness deep inside before it laches out like I did at lunch. Unladylike and bitchy as hell.
