Chapter 25

"We need to go, now." Will said hanging up my phone
"Of course theres always a reason we can never talk Jennifer." Tyler said blocking our way
"This reason is important. My daughters husband just go into a serious car accident and is going into surgery right now." Will said trying to push us to Katies store
"I will be right back." JJ said to me
At this point I had no idea what to do, I felt my self blanking out and Will talking to me. I didnt understand anything that was being said by JJ or Will. We got to the hospital in I think Katies car.
"Where is Dr. Grey?" Will asked a hospital staff member
"Uhhh, shes in surgery it looks like." The nurse said looking at her tablet "Are you Jacob Nolans father?" She asked Will
"No, Im his father in law." He said back
"Is my husband ok?" I finally spoke out
"Im sorry Mrs.Nolan. We dont know at this moment." She said back to me
I turned into JJ crying and wanting to fall to the floor
"I gotta call his parents." I said trying to calm down
"I will do it sweetie." JJ said holding me in a hug
We sat down and I fell asleep from crying on JJs shoulder

JJ's POV

I couldnt believe what was happening. I didnt care anymore about the Tyler incident. I only cared about Jacob and how Britt was doing. I sat with her holding her until I noticed all the stress and crying put her to sleep. I slowly moved and Will stepped in to have her lean on him. I took Britts phone from her hand to call Jacobs parents.
The phone rang and rang until I got an answer
"Hello?" The women asked
"Hi, this is Jennifer Jareau." I answered back
"Why are you calling off of Britts phone?" She asked
"Im at the hospital right now, Jacob was in a serious car accident." I said back trying to get to the reason why I was calling
"And how should I believe you?" She asked
"Because Im Britts mom and Jacobs mother in law. You should really get here to see your son. Hes in surgery right now and in critical condition." I said back in disbelief
"My son isnt married and Britt doesnt have a mom. Have a great day try playing this joke on someone else." Jacobs mom said and hung up
That bitch I said to myself looking over to a sleeping Britt on Wills shoulder
"Hey mom." I said calling her
"Hey how is everything did she find a dress?" She said back to me
"Yes and its beautiful. But I need to tell you something important." I said
"Shes not backing out now is she?" She asked
"No, mom shes not. Jacob got into a serious car accident we are at the hospital right now." I told her
"Oh no. What do you want me to do with the boys? Hows Britt? Do you need me to come down there?" She asked in a panic
"No. Just keep the boys there and tell them Jacob got hurt and will not be coming home for a while or something like that dont freak them out." I told her
"I will. Give Britt my love. Bye" she said
"I will mom. Bye." I said back walking over to Britt and Will. Britts phone starting ringing and I noticed it was Jacobs mom calling. I walked away picking it back up
"Listen here Britt. You cant be playing these games with us. We know Jacob is fine and you are just pretending you are your mom. We know you are just trying to get some part of his money by forcing him to marry you. Knock it off or we will get a court order for you to stay away from him." A man was yelling
"Im sorry. But this is Supervisory Special Agent Jennifer Jareau from the FBI and I am here at the hospital with your son as he is in surgery and in critical condition. Go ahead and dont believe me. But if you want to see for yourself we are at Solan-Grey Memorial. And if you come do not and I say dont not ever threaten my daughter like that again." I said in an angry calm way
The phone went silent
I walked back over to them as Britt started to wake up
"Hey,I called his parents. Im not sure if they will be coming." I told her as she sat up
"They probably wont" she said back half asleep
"Why not?" I asked
"They hate me and dont want me and Jacob together." She said as tears filled her eyes
"Im going to go get coffee. Y'all want any?" Will asked standing up and I shook my head yes. Britt cuddled up to me and fell back asleep

Couple Hours Later Britts POV

I woke up feeling uneasy as JJ combed her fingers through my hair
"How long was I asleep?" I asked
"A couple of hours ." JJ responded back
"Hows Jacob? Is there any update?" I asked getting panicked
"No nothing yet." She said
"Im going to go for a walk want to go with me." she said standing up
"Yeah I guess. I need some fresh air." I said standing up next to her
We walked out front of the doors and was greeted by Jacobs parents walking in
"You little gold digger." His mom said walking up to me
"Dont do it." JJ said silently holding my arm
"If he dies you are not getting any of his money. You are not part of this family and you are for certain not his wife." She said like venom as it stung a little
"Jayge. The doctors back." Will said rushing over to us
We walked inside to be greeted by who I took was Dr.Grey.
"Mrs. Nolan, we would like to speak with you alone." She said to me
Jacobs mom started to walk with her
"Im sorry, we need his wife. Shes listed first as his primary person." She said calmly
"Im his mother. They are not married she lied her way to get there." She yelled back at me as I stepped to walk with Dr.Grey.
"They got married in a court house two days ago. Look it up in the Washington DC area records." JJ spat back
"Lets go Mrs.Nolan." Dr.Grey said to me "Great mother in law you have." She laughed trying to break the tension
"Is my husband ok?" I asked ready to cry
"Mrs.Nolan your husband is..." she cut off as security rushed passed us breaking up an argument between my parents and his parents
