Chapter 91

JJs POV
"I cant believe the baby is coming early." I said to Will as we got into the car
"Neither can I. Im happy that Henry is at Alans and Micheal is at yours moms. This made it easier to get there and to allow us to give them one on one attention." He said pulling out of the drive way
"I really hope its a girl." I said looking out the window
"At this point Jayge, I just want the baby to be healthy." He said smiling over at me
"Dont give me that shit you want a boy and I know it." I laughed
"Only because I dont want to be the big tough grandpa." He laughed
Two ambulances flew by us going the opposite way from the hospital
"Call Jacob." Will told me
I called him and no answer. I tried again and still no answer
"He isnt picking up." I said getting worried
"They might be busy." He said trying to calm my nerves
"Turn around." I said getting a bad feeling
"Why?" He asked
"Just turn around." I said gritting my teeth hoping my gut was wrong
He turned around and we met up with the ambulances
"Thats Jacobs car." I said getting out of the car before Will fully stopped
"Jayge..." Will said as I ran over to the car
"Ma'am you cant be in here." And officer said trying to move me away
"Thats my daughter and son in law." I said freaking out
"Johnny let her go." Will said coming up behind me
"Detective." He said letting me go and into Wills arms
"What happened?" Will asked wanting answers
"A drunk driver plowed into them running the red light." The officer said.
"Why were they out this late driving?" He asked us
"My daughter went into labor. They were going to the hospital." I said wiping a tear away
An ambulance pulled away and I was unsure of who was inside.
I saw the man who was driving get placed in handcuffs and put in the back of the car
"Help!" Jacobs voice yelled causing me to sigh in relief
I ran over to him just to be stopped again
"We cant go in there. We are civilians right now." Will said holding me back
"My wife. Where is she?" He yelled
Jacob was panicking and Will knew that
"Johnny was that Britt that was taken away?" Will asked
"Yes, I believe so. They got her out and rushed her there because of the baby." He said answering the question
We looked up and saw Jacob was freed and place on a gurney.
I ran over to him.
"Britt where is she?" He asked when I grabbed his hand seeing his face all bloody
"On her way to the hospital." I said as he was lifted in
"Can she ride with me?" He asked the paramedics and the nodded as I hopped in and Will got in our car
"Jacob its going to be ok." I told him holding on to his hand trying to stay strong
"Is Raelynn ok?" He asked as the pain medication started to work
"Whos Raelynn?" I asked confused
"Your grand daughter." He smiled before all the monitors he was hooked up to started to go off
"You need to let go of his hand." A paramedic told me as I started to have tears run down my face
The did everything they could to bring his heart back to life and were successful. We pulled up to the hospital and they wheeled him out and into an operating room.
I saw Will and started to cry
"Cher we need to find Britt." He said calming me down
We were told Britt was in surgery as well. An hour later the Doctor came out and told us the baby  was delivered healthy and no injuries. I thought to myself how everything was going so perfect in our lives before this car accident.My phone started ringing clearing my thoughts.
"Hey David. Did Will call you?" I asked holding back tears
"Yes, Im on my way now. Jacobs parents are coming too." He said and I said goodbye before throwing my phone against the wall

I walked back over to Will.
"I got his room number. Lets go see him." He said standing up
"His parents are coming. I dont want them anywhere near us, Jacob, Britt, or the baby." I said trying to hide my tears
"They wont get near them. Lets go see our boy." He said pulling me into a hug than guiding me towards his room

We sat in his room for a couple of hours before David and his parents showed up.
"You two need to leave." I said standing ip
"Our son..." Debra started to say
"Hes not your son. You disowned him. Now for the safety of my son in law I want you two out of this room." I said having it drip out like venom
"JJ." Will said having me turn around seeing Jacob wake up
"Where Britt? Wheres my daughter?" He asked distraught
"Hey calm down Jacob." I said grabbing his hand and trying to stay call
"Hey son." Mike said
"Out. You are not my family." He said as they listened and stood out in the hallway with David
"JJ answer my questions please." He said almost crying
"Your daughter is doing perfectly fine she was born healthy. I can try and get a nurse to being her in. Britt is still in surgery. I havent heard anything else." I answered him as I wiped a few tears
