Time Changes Everything

Chapter 87

Britts POV
It was only around lunch time when I made it back to JJs house. I sat on the couch and wanted to call Jacob to tell him about my new opportunity but I remembered I still have not replaced my broken phone. I made the decision to go to Verizon and get a new one.
After dealing with that mess and reading all the messages I received from all of our friends I laid down on the couch and took a nap.

Britts dream
"Mommy wake up." I heard from a small child and felt a small push against my arm
"James, let your mom sleep she got home late last night." I heard Jacobs voice talking quietly moving towards my side of the bed
"Daddy put me down." I head from him as he giggles uncontrollably
I opened my eyes to see the same blonde haired little boy from  the previous dream
"Mommy!" He squealed as Jacob dropped him on the bed next to me
"Hey buddy." I said ruffling up his hair
"I need to go to the gym Nick called out and I have to teach his class." Jacob said kissing my forehead and doing the same to James
"When will you be home?" I asked
"By at least eleven." He said and I looked at my phone seeing it was eight
"Have fun we will be here." I said before I started tickling James
"Daddy help." He could barley say from laughing to much
"Daddys got to go but I will make sure mommy pays later tonight." He said winking at me and grabbing his gym bag and left
  "Are you hungry?" I asked looking at the blonde with messy hair
He nodded quickly and I got out of bed as he laid his head on my shoulder after I picked him up. I carried him downstairs and sat him on the couch and went to the kitchen.
"Bud breakfast is ready." I called out and heard his little feet patter against the floor running into me almost spilling my coffee
I watched him eat his waffles causing him to be a sticky but adorable mess.
"Lets go get you cleaned up and I will get ready and we will go to the park." I said as he finished up
We went to the park and I watched him play with other kids.
"Which one is yours?" Another mother asked as she sat next to me on the bench
"The crazy blonde in the black shirt." I said trying to point him out
"Oh, James. Hes a sweet boy. Kyle is in his class. You must me James's new nanny. Im Kyles mom Audrey. Hes a tough one to watch after. His mom is always gone. I heard she works for the FBI and leaves James and his hot father alone all the time." She said trying to start gossip
"Im actually Brittney. Im James's mom." I said coldly watching James jump off the swing
"Oh, Im sorry. Ive never seen you around and..." she started to say before I cut her off
"I might work all the time but that doesnt mean Im not a great mother. You dont know anything about my family." I said as I looked at her
"Im sorry." She said looking down to avoid me
"We need to go anyway. Go gossip about my family to someone else who might actually care." I said before standing up to get James

We get back home and Jacob was just pulling up as well
I get out and go to get a sleeping James out from the back of the car.
"I got him babe." He said putting his arms around my waist to move me out of the way
I watched him carry in a sleeping James and put him in his room
"We did good." He smiled giving me a kiss as we stayed by the door way watching him sleep peacefully
"We did. Im still excited he is blonde and blue eyed. " I said slightly laughing
"Whatever. Lets go clean up this house before mom, dad and the boys come over for dinner." He said kissing my nose and walking down stairs   We get the house cleaned up and right when we finished we heard a loud crash from James's room. We both ran up and saw that he was laying on the floor laughing uncontrollably
"What did you do boy?" Jacob asked picking him up
"I was jumping over the lava." He said as I saw he had his pillows lined up on the side of the bed
"Lets not do that again little man. I dont want you to get hurt." I said brushing back his hair and kissing his forehead
"But mommy Im four. Im a big boy." He said puffing his chest out
"Come on big boy. MiMi, Papa and your uncles are coming over in a little bit." Jacob said putting him down as I went to go go change out of leggings and one of Jacobs crossfit shirts
I walked down stairs and saw and eight year old Micheal playing with James and a almost teenage Henry.
"Hey, boys." I said walking down and going to the kitchen
"Hey mom." I said seeing he make a salad and Will and Jacob out by the grill
"What are you feeding that boy?" She laughed as she passed me a glass of wine
"Protein shakes at every meal." Jacob laughed walking in with a platter full of ribs
"Hey darlin." Will said kissing my forehead
"So whats up with this dinner?" I asked knowing I just saw JJ yesterday
"Well big new things are happening." Will said smiling
"Not another kid." I said shooting them a look each
"No. Its only you that will be having kids. But we wanted to celebrate. Hotch is stepping down and Cruz offered me Unit chief." JJ said smiling
"Oh my god. Congratulations." I said going into a hug
"And I was offered to be Chief of police." Will said taking a sip of his beer
"Well this is awesome." Jacob said sneaking a bit of lettuce
"MiMi. I hungry." James said walking over to her
"You heard the little man. Lets eat!" Will yelled getting the boys to run in to the kitchen.

Dinner went smoothly and had lots of laughs. They left around eight o clock and Jacob went to put James to bed as I changed back into leggings and Jacobs shirt and started to put the dishes in the dish washer.
"He went down like a rock." Jacob said walking into the kitchen
"Your killing me you know that." He said walking closer to me
"How is that so?" I asked standing back up to look at him
"With those leggings." He said standing behind me running his hands down my side pulling me into him feeling his excitement.
As on cue, James started calling for me.
"Sorry." I said laughing to go see him.

I woke up to some one saying my name repeatedly and nudging me.
"Stop." I said pushing their hands away from me
"I missed you to much to not touch you." A vice that sounded familiar made me open my eyes fast
"Jacob?" I said in a questioning way
"Britt?" He said copying me as he pulled me into a hug
