Time Changes Everything

Chapter 60

I walked inside the house with Henry who had his head down.
"Carly?" I asked wanting an answer from the nanny
"In the kitchen." She yelled back
I told Henry to go pack a bag for at least 5 days and I walked into the kitchen seeing her walking around carrying a sleeping Micheal
"Hey, I can take him." I said reaching for him
"Thanks, can you tell Jennifer or Will that he has been running a fever all day?" She asked
"They didnt tell you did they?" I asked as she shook her head no
"Mom is in Florida and Will has a triple homicide. Im watching over them." I said as she looked a little confused
"Okay. So you will drop Micheal off here tomorrow morning before you have work or class?" She asked
"Well I dont have class tomorrow and Jacob is off Friday so you have a long weekend until we let you know Sunday night." I said smiling
"Okay, thanks for letting me know and giving me time off." She said starting to gather her things
"Anytime. Have a nice weekend Carly." I waved to her with one arm
I headed up stairs to check on Henry and to start packing for Micheal. Henry was sitting on his bed looking sad. I laid Micheal in his bed before going to see him
"Whats up Hen?" I asked kneeling in front of him
"I didnt do good in math." He said sniffling
"Why not?" I asked pushing some of his hair out of the way of his eyes
"I dont understand some of it and now mommy and daddy are going to be mad at me." He said sounding disappointed in himself
"Hen, they arent going to be. They are proud of you no matter what and Jacob can help you hes really good at math." I told him as he kindof started to look happier
"Lets do a brother sister secret right now. I will sign the paper saying I looked at it for mom. Okay?" I told him as he really perked up and gave me a huge hug
"Now pack while I pack for Micheal. We can get Chipotle on the way home." I said standing up to go pack

We pulled into the garage and Jacob walked out to help me bring in their stuff as Henry tried to carried the food in and I carried a warm Micheal.
"You feeling any better?" I asked and he shook his head no and laid it on my shoulder.
"Lets get you some medicine." I said kissing his forehead
Henry and Jacob ate dinner without me as I walked around the room Micheal had when he stays here trying to get him to feel a little bit better
"BB tummy hurt." He said in a low voice
I understood what that meant and rushed him to the bathroom calling for Jacob to help him because I knew I would throw up. Jacob came in and took care of him. I went to pour him some more medicine but he ran out
"Hey, hes in the bath. I will go get more and take Henry with me. I will get juice and soup and stuff for him okay." He said walking to our bathroom where I was
I got Micheal all cleaned up and cuddled on the couch with him and called mom
"Hey, Britt how is everything?" She asked picking up
"Good. Henry is being good but Micheal I guess has had a fever all day and just finished throwing up." I said as I played with his hair and he dazed off watching Sponge Bob
"Shit. Really?" She asked surprised
"I can come home if you need me too." She said concerned
"Mom its fine and its great practice for us." I said smiling as I heard the garage open
"Henry just got home from the store with Jacob. You wanna talk to him?" I asked her
"Yes." She said fast
I gave him the phone and he ran off to his room as Jacob and I took care of Micheal.
The night continued on and we got both boys to bed at their respected times. Jacob got our first baby gadget of baby monitors for us to use for Micheal. We laid in bed and talked about our day like normal until we got interrupted by   a screaming Micheal
"I got him you stay here." Jacob said kissing me on the forehead.  This is going to be a long few nights I thought to myself
