Time Changes Everything

Chapter 78

A light knock came at the door and it opened
"Hey, Im making lunch." JJ said walking in and sitting at the end of my bed
"Im not hungry." I said not looking at her
"You need to eat." She said not leaving
"Will you just go." I said bitterly
"Yeah. I will have Will bring you lunch." She said leaving and closing the door
Five minutes later the door opened and a tray was placed on the nightstand and a kiss was place on my head before they left.
I sat up to eat and looked at my phone seeing messages from all my friends asking questions. I threw my phone against the wall and broke it. When I finished eating I placed the tray in the hallway and went back to bed.

A few hours later a knock came and again JJ told me about dinner and I refused to get up.
The same routine happened for dinner and I fell asleep waking up to cry every few hours.

I woke up at seven and got up for class. I didnt care what I wore and walked into the kitchen seeing Will making breakfast. He sat the plate down in front of me and I ate. When I finished I got up and left for class to avoid JJ. I went to my classes and went back home climbing back in bed.

JJs POV
"What are we going to do?" I asked Will sitting on the couch getting home from work
"Give it time cher." He said pulling me into his side
"Shes not talking to me." I said crying into him
"Shhhh its ok. She will over time. I promise." He said wiping my tears away
"Im going to go check on her." I said standing up
I walked up stairs and stopped at her door and heard her muffled cries. I held back my tears and slightly knocked and walked in.
"Go away." She said turning around having her back face me
"Im not going to." I said laying down next to her
She turned around instantly and laid in my arms and started to cry uncontrollably. I just laid with her playing with her hair calming her down.
"Twenty-nine more days." I said still playing with her hair
"Its going to help him right?" She asked as her breathing went back to normal
"Yes. He never used so it will be helping him. Its a reassurance thing for him. He asked to be put in there. He loves you and your unborn child. He didnt want to lose anything." I said reassuring her
"Will you come with me tomorrow?" She asked
"To class?" I asked confused
"No, to my doctors appointment. Its our monthly check up." She said
"Yes, I will go with you my baby girl." I said kissing her forehead
"I dont want to go by myself." She said sitting up and started to run to the bathroom
"I will be there. I will take all day off tomorrow. We can have a girls day." I said rubbing her back as morning sickness took over her
She crumbled into my arms and innocently asked me what was for dinner. I smiled and helped her up and walked in on Will cooking something cajan.

We said our goodnights to the kids and we went to bed. At twelve fifteen I woke up to an ear piercing scream coming from Britts room.
Will and I ran in as fast as we could and she was sitting up gasping for air as tears streamed her face.
"Sorry. I had a nightmare." She said trying to catch her breath
"Im going to check on the boys." Will said leaving
"You wanna talk about it?" I asked sitting down next to her and she shook her head no
"Alright. I will see you in the morning than." I said kissing her on the head and about to leave.
"Will you stay with me until I fall asleep?" She asked sounding innocent. I nodded and laid next to her falling asleep myself.
