This is a Vanoss x Lui story but again is not a love story as you might be thinking, anyways enjoy

Vanoss POV:

I was on my computer again trying to find another job to get more money even if I already had three already, I was tired with bags under my eyes, pale and skinny, I've done all I can and still I can provide a good life for...

"Evan?" I heard his squeaky voice from behind making me turn, there I saw Lui with his diaper, small red hoodie and his owl toy, I could see him standing in the middle of the door, the light reflecting his shadow

"Lui, what are you doing up? I thought you were asleep an hour ago" I closed my laptop walking to him kneeling to his height 

"I couldn't sleep" I lifted him carrying him on my arm walking to his room as I laid him on his bed pulling the covers over him

"Just sleep Lui so tomorrow you have energy"

"Evan"

"Yes Lui?"

"Do you think we can look for Santa this year? maybe we can find him now" he said with hope in his young eyes, 'I could get sick, I'm not as well as last year' I turned to see him with that smile that always lit something inside of me, even if I was tired 

"Sure Lui, maybe Santa will be there now" I leaned to give him a kiss on his forehead "Now sleep Lui, I'll be in the living room" I stood up but he pulled my arm

"Evan"

"Yes Lui?" I sat again

"Can you tell me a story?"

"Sure, which one do you want?"

"The one of the little monkey and the owl" I took a deep breath 

"Once there was a little monkey who was always playing with his friend the owl, one day the mommy and daddy of the monkey went on a journey to find a better place, a place with food, peace and more monkeys to play. but they had to leave their little baby with the owl because it was a long journey. So, the owl accepted the little monkey treating him like his own waiting for the return of mommy and daddy" I looked down to see Lui half asleep

"I like that story" he said with sleepy voice "Evan"

"Yes Lui?"

"Do you think that my parents will come back soon to take us to that wonderful place?" he said hugging my arm, I gulped and sighed 

"I... I hope Lui"

"I like to sbe with you" I pulled my jacket getting it over him

"I like to be with you too Lui, now is time to sleep"

"Promise that today you'll sleep early"

"I promise" I kissed his forehead before turning the light off leaving the nightlight on. I walked to the couch opening my laptop and opened the videos from Lui when he arrived

I watched the video when I fed him with the few baby food I could aford, the video of us in the park and him having an ice cream, I watched the video when I bought him his red hoodie that looked like mine

I closed the videos and I saw the page with all the job opportunities 

"For a better life... for a happy Lui" I said as I clicked the button that said register for a job.

This story was based on the new animation on top of the story, it sucks but I had this idea since I saw the video. anyways I hope you enjoyed it. I love you all people <3
