I was curled under the covers of my bed as I cried my heart out, 'why does this happen to me? why me? why do they think I'm so weird? is not my fault, is it?' then I heard a knock on my door
"Ryan?" it was Jon "Ryan, can I come in?" I heard how he tried to open the door but I locked it
"Stay out!" I screamed from underneath the covers
"Ryan please, I'm sorry-"
"Sorry doesn't keep people from laughing at me!"
"Ryan-"
"Go away!"
"Ryan please let me in"
"No! you can go back with your stupid boyfriend because you can do a normal life!"
"He'll never be my boyfriend, please Ryan let me in"
"No!"
"Ryan let us in" I heard Luke from the other side (Did you get the pun? no?...okay I'll shut up)
"No, leave me alone, that's what people do best!"
"Ryan please, we're your brothers we only want to help you"
"What kind of brother leads you to a trap!"
"Ryan he didn't know-"
"Do I also need to remind you that-"
"Ryan Patterson don't you dare!" screamed Luke with anger in his voice, I stood and ran to the door and opened it violently
"Jon isn't our brother!" I looked at Luke who stared down at me with a frown and then it hit me, I covered my mouth with my eyes wide opened as I looked at Jon, his eyes began to water and he sobbed "Jon I-"
"I hate you! that's true I'm not your brother, but you are a big brother to me!" then he ran to his room and slammed the door, I turned to Luke who only looked at me with a serious look
"You better apologize like he was going to do to you, Ryan I never thought you could say such a thing"
"I'm sorry, I got really angry and-" I began to cry even harder
"Ryan" I looked at him "Make things right and get your little brother back" he then walked to his room and closed the door, I walked back to my room and sat on the edge looking at my night table, I then opened the secret drawer on the side and pulled out a picture of Luke, and I in the backyard of our parents house and Jon was between us

then I stood up and walked to Jon's door and knocked softly
"Jon?" I didn't hear anything so I knocked again "Jon, are you awake?" I then turned the knob and slowly opened the door, I saw Jon on his bed sleeping while he hugged his pillow, I walked to his side and sat on the edge of the bed. I looked at this night light that reflected a water effect on the ceiling, I put the rabbits next to him and the photo standing on the lamp
"I'm sorry Jon, I didn't mean to yell at you, I didn't mean to tell you such things, I was really angry that I didn't realize that I hurt you. Jon, you're and will alway be my little brother, I know I can be weird but I still love you, I remember the day Luke came with you on his arms, you were a little baby, I remember that day like the best day of my life"
---flashback--- (Ryan is 6, Luke is 8 and Jon is 1)
I was waiting for my brother in the living room with dad at my side
"Dad"
"Yes sweet pie?" he looked at me as I climbed on his lap
"When is my brother going to come? I want to play"
"I don't know pie, your brother is on a mission"
"Really? what mission? is it the one of the dragon in the basement? or the one of the monster in the bathroom?"
"This is a different mission sweet"
"Oh, why didn't he tell me? I'm his sidekick, I can help"
"No sweet pie, this mission is more dangerous, he wanted to protect you so he went alone"
"Oh... he is really brave isn't he?"
"Yes Ryan, he is your big brother and he'll always protect you" I was about to respond when the door opened and daddy and Luke walked inside "Glenn, how did everything go? is the baby alright?" dad ran to daddy as I ran to hug Luke
"Yes love, the baby is alright, everything is done" said daddy
"Brother I missed you! were where you?" I said as I hugged Luke tight
"I was saving a life"
"A life?"
"Kids come here" daddy called and we both walked as they kneeled with a blue blanket and when I looked inside I saw a baby
"What's that?" I asked
"That Ryan is your little brother"
"I don't have a little brother"
"Now you do" said Luke, I looked to the baby and he opened his green eyes and looked at all of us but stopped on me and then he giggled
"What's so funny?" I asked the baby
"I think he likes you Ry" said Luke
"Can you hold the baby Ryan?" I nodded and daddy slowly passed the blanket to me "Go to the couch we'll be back" me and Luke sat on the couch with the baby as he wouldn't stop looking at me
"Why is he looking at me like that?"
"I don't know" I then got an idea and passed the baby to Luke so I could go to my room for my two rabbits, when I came back dad and daddy were in the living room too, I sat down next to Luke and looked at the baby who then continued to look at me
"Look what I got" I showed the darker rabbit who was Ash, the baby stretched his arms and giggled "You can have this one" I gave the baby the toy and he only made weird sounds "What's the name of the baby?"
"He doesn't have a name" said dad
"He seems to like you very much Ryan, why don't you and Luke choose a name for him?" I looked at him
"I like Jamie" said Luke
"I like James"
"How about...Jam...Jom?"
"Jom? no, how about...John?" then Luke gasped
"Jonathan"
"I like it" then we both turned to the baby who was asleep already "baby Jonathan, my little brother"
---end of the flashback--- (that was a long flashback but mehhh)
"I'm sorry Jon, I didn't mean to hurt you" I cried until I felt soft arms wrapped around my waist, I turned and saw Jon with his eyes closed and his head on my back
"I forgive you Ryan, I'm sorry too, I never mean any of this to happen" then I turned and hugged him and caressed his soft hair "I'm sorry Ryan" he sobbed
"I'm sorry Jon" I cupped his face and looked into his green eyes "You'll always be my little baby brother"
