Luke POV:
"But I don't want to leave you" he sobbed as he held tight to my chest
"I know, but I don't want you to get hurt... I wouldn't be able to live with myself" I pulled his chin up and looked into his red eyes full of tears
"B-But L-Luke... please" he cried
"Ryan... I know it's hard but... understand we can't be together... not anymore"
"But I love you" he whispered "Don't leave me"
"I'll never leave your side, never... my love" I put our foreheads together as he cried and the banging on the doors got louder
"Please... we still have time to run away... they won't find us" I cupped his face and leaned down to kiss his soft pink lips, he kissed me back but his lips trembled "Please... I love you"
"I love you too Ryan, you're my everything and you are the one who brought happiness in my life... but a human and a demon... we both knew your village would sooner or later find out"
"I don't care for them... I care for you" I cleared his tears and kissed him again
"I'm sorry baby... always remember that I love you" I held his hand and put my ring on his finger "Evan"
"Yes sir?" answered the gigant owl
"Take Ryan and the rest with you, take them far from this lands and don't come back after years"
"No Luke please!"
"Master Ryan we have to go" Evan carefully pulled Ryan
"Luke please!"
"I love you Ryan! never forget that!" I screamed before they ran downstairs and hopped on the horses
Third POV:
Luke stood outside on the balcony as the white snow dropped, he felt the cold for the first time but it wasn't because of the snow... it was because the absence of his loved one by his side
Ryan hopped on the horse and wrapped his arms around the servant's waits as the horse picked up speed, Ryan looked behind to see hi beloved red skinned demon standing on the balcony looking at him
"Luke!" screamed Ryan, the demon looked his way and slowly walked along the path on the roofs to follow his lover as much as he could and began to sing
"I was the one who had it all
I was the master of my fate
I never needed anybody in my life
I learned the truth too late" Luke picked up speed as the horse did too
"I'll never shake away the pain
I close my eyes but he's still there
I let him steal into my melancholy heart
It's more than I can bear" Luke jumped from one roof to another to follow his lover
"Now I know he'll never leave me
Even as he runs away
He will still torment me
Calm me, hurt me
Move me, come what may" Luke began to run above the castle
"Wasting in my lonely tower
Waiting by an open door
I'll fool myself, he'll walk right in
And be with me for evermore" Ryan picked a rose from the garden and held it close to his chest
"I rage against the trials of love
I curse the fading of the light
Though he's already flown so far beyond my reach
He's never out of sight" Luke stopped at the end of the path and Ryan threw the rose at his demon
"Now I know he'll never leave me
Even as he fades from view" the horse ran out of the castle's main door
"He will still inspire me
Be a part of everything I do
Wasting in my lonely tower
Waiting by an open door
I'll fool myself, he'll walk right in" Luke held the rose close to his chest
"And as the long, long nights begin
I'll think of all that might have been
Waiting here for evermore"
"I love you Luke" Ryan cried on the back of the servant as the castle began to shrink with the distance
"I'll never forget you my dear" Luke whispered as he heard the doors of the castled forced open and the people running inside
