Wednesday, 7th December 2016 - Experiencing the Work
Dear Diary
I went in to school early so as to hand in my final assessment task. Most people seemed to have theirs completed. I took a quick peek at a few of the other peoples work, and I felt confident that I was beating many of them. Many of them though, not quite all of them. I still had a satisfactory completion. After it was all handed in, many people talked amongst themselves about the quality of their work. From over hearing what many people said, I was able to confirm what I already suspected from most of what I had observed earlier.
After I handed that in, one of the teachers were also trying to get us to sign up for work experience during the holidays. Reluctantly, I signed up. I didn't really have anything else planned for the holidays, it would make a welcome change to the monotony that I knew was going to come at some point. The teacher who gave me the sign up sheet implied that it would be at one of the two places that I had visited earlier in the term for excursions. Those places did seem interesting, and if I got placed in the second one that we went to, I would have more opportunities to check out on the abandoned bunker.
Unfortunately, it wasn't exactly my choice as to where I would go.
