Wednesday, 28st December 2016 - A Final Year Swim
Dear Diary
I met up with Bear early in the day so that we could go swimming. We both walked to the pool. It was only a short distance from both of our houses.
We quickly paid the small admission fee that was required. Going our separate ways, we each went to the bathrooms to change into the swimming clothes. The two of us saw each other soon after.
It soon became apparent to us that many other people had also decided that today was a perfect day to go for a swim. The amount of children that were running about to go into a pool was enormous.
Luckily, many of them seemed to be avoiding the single pool which was inside. It was rather small, but Bear and I did not mind too much.
At some points, we weren't even able to hear the children, however, they were always there.
We stayed in the pool for several hours, changing when we felt that the other pools were a lot less empty. Eventually we got out, drying ourselves and getting back into our normal clothes. I called up my parents and asked if it was okay if Bear came home with me. They said it would be fine, so the two of us walked back to my house. She ended up staying the night.
It was a rather fine day.
