Wednesday, 14th December 2016 - My Fundraiser
Dear Diary
Today was finally the last day of school. It had taken the better part of a year to finally get here. I was forced to spend most of the first class of the day going around to each classroom, collecting the money which had been required to collect for the fundraiser. As the school was extremely large, and almost all people had dressed in their mufti clothes, there was a lot of money to collect. Most people gave in the amount which was required of them. Some gave in more. Some gave in less. I was fine with this, mainly as the money wasn't going to a real charity anyway.
If I had thought that yesterday was feeling like an extremely slow day with nothing really being done, today really trumped it. It's almost as if a negative amount of work was being done.
I was so glad when the day was finally over. So was everybody else, apparently. For several weeks, choice was mine.
The teachers kept on trying to tell us that the holidays were a perfect time to study, but I knew that not many of the people were going to do that.
When I got home, I spent some time with Biscuit.
