Friday, 23rd December 2016 - Work Party
Dear Diary
For most of the day, I was able to do what I wanted. This turned out to be hanging out with Biscuit, doing things on the computer and continuing to read the messages which were being sent by Prey and Intruder.
Unfortunately, as it was the end of work for my mother of the year, she had an end of year work party on, and myself and my father was expected to go. I tried to worm my way out of it as best as I could. However, nothing that I could say had any effect, and was forced to go.
The amount of people that I did not know was extremely high. For the most part, I followed my mother around wherever she walked, trying to avoid any and all conversation, and trying to look as comfortable as possible. The amount of people my mother kept introducing me to was astonishingly high.
I was pleased to see that I was not the only child who had been forced here. I saw a number of people of a similar age to me doing much the same things that I was.
At least the food that they served there was extremely good. Every other part of the night may have been awful, but the several courses made up for it slightly.
