Dear Diary

Bear and I arrived at the facility a little earlier than many of the other people who were supposed to be doing it with us. The main member of staff who was going to be giving us the tour around the area and assigning us jobs said that

"Well, I can see who actually cares". He said it in such a way that made it seem like he did not have a very large appreciation for people my age. Having spent a large amount of time with these sorts of people, I can't say I blamed him. The real reason that Bear and I arrived so early was that we had carpooled, and underestimated the traffic.

Still, it's always nice to seem appreciated.

When everybody finally arrived, the tour began. The person who was showing us around really did not want to be there. He didn't make it obvious or specifically say it, but some of the looks that he gave many of the other people seemed to confirm it in my eyes.

Just like last time, there were five buildings.

The bunker continued to be in the middle of all of them, still completely unused. It stood in stark contrast to all of the other buildings, and even the ground around it. It was almost as if it had been picked up from a dystopian setting and placed in the middle of a futuristic scientific research facility.

Every other building seemed in line with what the company was doing. Everything was sleek and modern, the walls of buildings covered in priceless artworks.

When the tour was done, everybody was assigned small tasks to do at small offices. Our tour guide gave Bear and I the desk closest to his office to work at. Bear was certain that she heard him mumble something about how we were the least annoying.

All of our other classmates seemed to struggle with the amount of work allocated, but Bear and I finished quickly. I guide even seemed to be impressed, giving us more work until there was little left to do.

He just told us to talk quietly.

If this was happening on the first day, I didn't exactly have high hopes for the amount of actual experience we were going to be getting.
