Tuesday, 13th December 2016 - Announcing on Assembly
Dear Diary
School was really wrapping up for the year. Even though I was in the senior year, exactly zero work was done over the entire day. Each teacher was content to let us play games in class, or watch movies or even just simply talk to each other.
The low point of the day was definitely assembly though. Normally this experience is simply boring and long. Today, however I was being forced to present. I had being informed that somebody needed to tell the school about tomorrow's fundraiser mufti day. As I had organized it, this role had fallen to me. This definitely did not mean that I liked it.
When it was my turn to stand in front of the microphone, I made my announcement as fast as I could, without looking rushed. I told the price, what they would be able to wear, as well as what the charity was and what it supported.
During lunch, the student council met for the final time this year. Like with the rest of the school day, nothing serious was happening. A few people had brought food to share, and we all ate that. A few people congratulated me on the announcement I made.
