Thursday, 12th January 2017 - Lion: Back to Talking
Dear Diary
I was disappointed to see that Prey and Intruder were back to talking. I knew that it was going to happen eventually, but it didn't need to have happened so soon. Prey had spent the last several days sending constant messages to Intruder, begging her to talk to him. For the most part, she had left all of his messages on read, but didn't reply.
Even today when she was actually responding to him now, they were not as frequent or as friendly as they had used to be.
It took several hours, but Prey was finally able to partially convince Intruder that he had no idea who that girl was. Even then, Intruder still wasn't totally sure. Prey asked many times if there was any way to offer proof of his claims. He did spend a while trying to ease her fears, showing her many photos that he did not have of her, nor any records of conversations over text.
The last time that something like this had been done to them, they were back to their normal relationship after only a day. This time it had taken almost a week. I predicted that I would only need to do something like this two or three more times before Intruder really did leave him, leaving Prey completely open for me.
