Dear Diary
Yesterday had been a rather exciting day. Today, by contrast, was far more boring. That was, in fact, how I suspected that the rest of my year was going to go.
The sport game which was being watched by my parents had finished several days earlier, freeing them up to do anything else. For most of the day, they were busy around the house, fixing, cleaning, and running errands.
Reluctantly, I put Biscuit into a different room so that I could actually do my holiday homework.
With Biscuit gone, I found that the amount of work which I was able to do greatly increased.
After several hours of work, I decided that enough was enough, and began to pack up my work. Part way through, I decided that I wasn't even going to do that, and left it where it was.
This gave me slightly more time to spend with Biscuit.
For most of the rest of the day, I was with Biscuit. We went out for a walk, I fed him a few times and I chucked his toys at a distance far enough away so that he would go fetch them and give them back to me, repeating the cycle over and over again.
