Dear Diary

Sometime after I woke up in the morning, a few nurses came and gave me a sling that I could put my arm in if I wanted to go for a walk. I had wanted to go for a walk yesterday, but I had not been sure if I was allowed to go. Mouse had told me yesterday that he was going to come in again today, so I planned on waiting for him before I went anywhere.

I spent much of the morning trying to watch the television which had come in the room. I never truly realized how bad daytime television was. For the most part, it was reality shows and news in languages that I didn't really understand. When Mouse came, I was going to ask him to bring me some books.

When he finally arrived, I was rather delighted. As much as I was glad that the hospital had performed its magic on me, it had started to get rather boring rather quickly.

We spent a while talking. School was going back tomorrow, and he was rather ready for it. There was no chance that I would be going. One of the nurses had made it very clear that it would be sometime before I was going to be able to leave the hospital, let alone go to school.

After we soon started to run out of things to talk about, I suggested that we go for a walk. Mouse was up for this idea, and we set off.

There was a rather large garden connected to the hospital. We walked throughout the garden, continuing our talk. It was quite nice. The sunshine and the wind felt rather nice on the skin, especially after being forced indoors for over a week. I decided that I was going to spend as much time as possible outside in this garden.
