Turning Back..

Chapter 10

Deven's POV--

I was getting ready for the San Diego show, I was finally going to see Vic for the first time in three months and I was so excited for Christmas too which was coming up. Jacky and Ronnie were downstairs and they were coming along with me and Marie I'd spoken to Vic on the phone over the past few days and we had definitely made up after are petty fall out. He'd assured me him and Jenna were just friends and I could trust him. I hadn't spoken to Kacie or Jaime in a few days and I couldn't wait to see Kacie and neither could Marie. I grabbed my jacket and walked down the stairs to meet the others in Ronnie's car. I was a little apprehensive about seeing Jenna again since the last time she tried to finish me but I pushed it to the back of my mind, maybe Jenna was a changed woman like Vic had said. 

I got into the backseat next to Marie and we headed to the venue the boys were playing at tonight. I sent a text to Kacie as we pulled up at the venue

Deven: Hey Babe, we're here x

I waited for her to appear and when she did I jumped out of the car and hugged her "Kacie it's so good to see you!" she wrapped her arms around me

"Aw babe, I'm so glad to see you!" Ronnie and Jacky got out of the car and gave her a hug before I grabbed Marie from the back seat and handed her to her Mum "Oh Marie I've missed you baby girl" she started to walk towards the venue so we followed her "So we have backstage passes" she said to me "but I kind of just want us two to hang out together during the show then we'll go backstage, are you ok with that?" I nodded, I liked the idea of watching the guys from the crowd, I don't think either of us had ever done that, only at Warped tour. We walked through the front entrance where the fans were stood queuing. The doors were open and people were going inside so we wouldn't be out in the cool San Diego air for too much longer. 

We all walked in without many kids recognising Ronnie and stood at the back by the bar. We all grabbed a drink and stood around until Tonight Alive came on. I swallowed as I looked up at Jenna "Ugh she sickens me Deven" I turned to her

"Good because she sickens me too" I was relieved when they finished their set. I looked at my watch, I honestly couldn't wait to see Vic for the first time in the longest three months of my life. "I still can't believe Vic though, seriously after everything that happened you'd think he would have learned" I raised an eyebrow at her "Pfft, and you are no good sleeping with Jacky" I looked up as the intro music started to play and the crowd erupted into cheers. I waited till the noise had died down when PTV started to play their fist song "Wait Kacie what are you talking about?" 

"Well, when Vic told you about him and Jenna you told him you and Jacky slept together?" I looked up at the guys on stage as Vic started to talk "What's up San Diego! We're very happy to be here tonight!" 

"I never told him that and I haven't slept with Jacky" her facial expression changed suddenly and she bit her lip "He never told you did he?" I screwed my face up 

"Kacie, just tell me?" she sighed and turned to look at Ronnie and Jacky who were stood watching with Marie. "Kacie?" she turned back to me

"Deven I, I thought he had told you, he well he cheated on you with Jenna again" I felt bile rise up from my stomach and my knees went weak. I stared at Kacie and swallowed "Deven I'm so sorry, he's lied to us all" I looked up at Vic and then back to Kacie before I started to cry my eyes out. I ran off in the direction of the toilets before locking myself in one of the cubicles and sitting on the toilet seat. I was shaking, I couldn't believe him, I couldn't believe he'd done it again. He'd lost me for good this time, I couldn't let him keep doing this to me, to us! My sobs echoed throughout the bathrooms and I was glad there was no one in here. I silenced them as I heard the door open and I saw Kacie's Red high heels walk across the floor, stopping outside the cubicle door "Deven, babe? are you ok? The guy's are off stage and the place is empty" I took a deep breath

"W-where are the g-guys?" I asked her not wanting to see them looking like this 

"Ronnie and Jacky took Marie back to your place and PTV went back stage, I told them we'd be there in a second and that you had just nipped to the loo" I smiled glad that Kacie was sticking by me. I unlocked the cubicle door and Kacie stepped back as I swung it open and walked towards the mirror to wipe away the smudged make up on my face. Kacie handed me her make up bag and I smiled thankful she carried all of this around with her. I reapplied my make up and stared at myself in the mirror "Dev what are you going to do Hun?" I turned to her 

"Where's my backstage pass?" she went into her bag and handed me the laminate, I held it in my hand and started out of the toilets and across the empty venue to the stage, I climbed over the barriers at the front, Kacie chasing fast behind me shouting my name. I got over and jumped up onto the stage showing the roadies my pass as they busily tidied up. I charged through the backstage area until I found the dressing room, I composed myself and pushed the door open seeing all four of the guys stood there smiling with cans of beer in their hand obviously celebrating an amazing final show. They all turned to me and I smiled at them before laying my eyes on Vic "Babe, you made it" he stated coming over to me

"Don't you ever call me that again you piece of shit!" I snapped, I walked right up to him and slapped him square across the face before charging out of the room and past Kacie who was stood in the doorway "Where's Tonight Alive's dressing room?" I shouted to anyone who was listening. Kacie trotted up next to me "It's here" she shoved me in front of a door and I swung it open, my eyes laid on Jenna and I lept on her pinning her to the wall "You never learn do you Jenna" her eyes were wide and she looked scared which boosted me up a little I grabbed her hair and pulled her out of the room and down the corridor to the stage and I didn't stop walking until I was at the edge of the stage "You slept with my fucking husband again, you win this time, you can fucking have him all to yourself" I went to push her backwards off of the stage but someone grabbed me before I could even do it. I turned seeing Mike and everyone else stood around watching. I stared up at Mike who had his hand on my shoulder before I started crying again, letting everything out. I shrugged Mike off and jumped down off of the stage, climbing over the barrier and speedily walking out of the front of the venue. I then realized I had no way of getting home because I had come with Ronnie and he had gone. "fuck it I'm walking" I said to myself as I started in the direction of home. 

Three hours later I made it home, I was cold and still crying my eyes out. I looked a state and I wasn't prepared to see Vic when I got in. He was stood in the hallway staring at me. I shook my head at him and started to make my way up the stairs to our bedroom. I grabbed the biggest suitcase we had under the bed and started to pull all of my belongings from shelves, draws and the wardrobe, I just threw it into the case. Vic was stood in the doorway I could feel he was there, I didn't even have to look. I stood up and looked towards the window. I looked down at the two rings on my finger and slipped them off before turning around and walking towards Vic. I grabbed his hand and opened it before placing the rings in his palm and closing his fingers around them. I didn't even look at him I didn't want to look at his face. I walked back over to the bed and zipped up my suitcase as I took one last look around the room to check I had everything. I pulled it off of the bed and started to leave the room but Vic stood in the way. I looked down at the floor "Vic" I croaked "Please will you move out of the way"

"Where are you going?" he asked, voice shaking 

"Away, I just need to get away" I pushed by him and ran down the stairs and out of the door over to my car. I unlocked it and threw my suitcase into the trunk before getting into the front seat and driving away from my home. I didn't know where I was going but right now I didn't care.
