Turning Back..

Chapter 4

Vic was rushing around getting his last few things together and I stood in the front room with Jaime, Mike, Tony and Kacie. They were all ready to leave, they were sat patiently watching one of the music channels on the TV. Eventually Vic came down the stairs ready to leave with his suitcase. I followed them all out of the front door and to the bus which was parked outside. Kacie pulled me into a hug "Oh god, Deven I'm going to miss you, I promise I'll call you every night, Ronnie will drop Marie off in about a month" I pulled away from Kacie and then the other guy's came and gave me a hug before they jumped on the bus all besides Kacie and Vic. I turned to her "Ronnie said if you wanted he could come over and keep you company if you do get lonely ok?" I nodded at her before she went and got onto the bus. I looked to Vic who instantly wrapped me into a hug "Can you not just come with us? I don't think I can leave you" I sighed

"I wish I could Vic, I really do but I have work to do" he sighed and wrapped his arms around me tighter and I took in his scent before he finally let go. A tear slipped down my cheek "No, no don't cry babe" he placed a kiss on my lips and I wanted it to last forever. "I'll call you as soon as we get to New York ok?" I nodded "I'll email you our schedule so you know exactly where we are ok?" I nodded again and hugged him again and we stayed in that position for a while until Jaime shouted out to us saying they were leaving "I guess I'll see you in three months then" I sighed and watched as he walked towards the bus pulling his suitcase on and waving at me before the bus door closed and they drove away. I felt a little empty and alone now for the first time in a pretty long time. I walked into the living room seeing none other than Tonight Alive on the TV screen talking about their new album. I was intrigued so kept it on even though Jenna made me sick to my stomach. Part of me wanted to know what they were doing. They were talking about promoting their new album and were going on tour, I'd heard enough so flicked the TV off and walked upstairs to tidy up the mess Vic had no doubt left in our bedroom and bathroom. 

I walked into our bedroom to find it surprisingly spotless apart from the giant bag of Reece's cups that were lying on the pillow on my side of the bed, I raised an eyebrow and walked over picking up the small note folded up on top of them with my name written on the front, I unfolded it and read it 

Don't eat them all at once, lots of love Vic xxx

I smiled at the note and placed it in the draw next to my side of the bed before taking the huge bag of Reese's downstairs and trying to find a spot for them in the pantry which was pretty full right now. I sat down on one of the kitchen chairs and listened to the tick of the clock which hung above the door in the kitchen, it was silent. Usually I'd be able to hear the guy's rehearsing down the hall way, or the sound of Vic humming and strumming his guitar. But there was nothing, it was completely silent and I didn't like it one bit. I pulled myself up grabbing the Reece's cups I had only just put away and made my way into the living room. I went over to the draw where we kept all of the films and pulled out the Star Wars box set that Tony had lent me because I still hadn't seen any of them. I placed the first disk into the DVD player and sat on the sofa pulling my blanket from the arm of the couch and pulling it around me. I didn't have work until Monday and I honestly had no clue what I was going to do for the rest of today and the weekend. I guess today would be spent watching all of these Star Wars films and I'd probably go over to my parents place tomorrow....

My phone started to ring and I jumped as I had been falling asleep. I lent down and grabbed it from the floor before answering "Hello?"

"It's Vic" I smiled "We made it to New York, is everything ok back home?" 

"Woah what time is it?" I asked with a yawn

"6:30pm" I groaned as I looked at the TV screen which had the main menu playing, I had been determined to watch this film for Tony but had fallen asleep halfway through "I must have fallen asleep" I heard Vic chuckle
