It's been two days since what happened in my bedroom with Viktor, and I'm finally going to be able to leave the house today.

But for some reason, I just can't gather up the courage to leave from underneath my warm covers.

The scene of him inching so close to me has been replaying through my mind nonstop since it happened. I can't get it out of my head.

But for some reason, even though I try to, I can't seem to consider it a bad memory. So that's why I don't have the courage to face him right now; it would only confuse me more. I simply just want to sit here in my bed all day and think.

No, that's not true. I want to skate, really badly.

Just not near him.

"Yuri!~" Viktor yells, slamming open the door. I scream and jump in surprise. After a second my face turns red and I look away.

"W-what is it, Viktor?" I say. He sighs and rests against the doorframe.

"Good morning? Can't a coach say good morning to his student?" He asks. I laugh a little and scratch the back of my neck, still not looking at him.

"Yeah, I guess so. Good morning."

"So!" He starts, sitting on the edge of my bed. I squeeze my eyes shut as memories from the other day pour out into my head. "What shall we do today? Skate? Shop? Eat?"

I immediately feel bad about wanting to stay in my room all day and begin to search my brain for answers. Maybe I will go somewhere.. Just not for long. I have been in bed the past three days.

"No, not any of those. I skate all the time and I don't like to shop." I say. "But I can't think of anything either."

"Hmm.. Oh!" Viktor exclaims, putting his finger on his chin. "How about the beach? You have a beach around here, right?" He asks. Wow, that's really not a bad idea.

"O-okay. That sounds good." I respond. He jumps up and shows me and excited face.

"Okay! Put on clothes that you don't mind getting wet," he says, winking, and then trotting out of the room. I can't help but laugh at his behavior and then lay back on my pillow.

How did this happen? I won't be able to look at him right all day.

I stand up and walk over to my dresser to pull out a pair of grey athletic pants and my navy blue t shirt. I grab my glasses and head out the door to instantly see Viktor running up to me, excitement plastered all over his face.

He's adorable.

My face automatically flashes red at my last thought and I look down at his shirt, trying to keep away from awkward eye contact.

"Let's go!" He says, grabbing my wrist. He pulls me out the front door and I push my glasses up.

He's not letting go of my wrist.

And we're way past the door.

I let him drag me to the beach and he finally let's go, running off towards the shoreline.

"Wow!" He exclaims. I stare at him for a minute and then smile to myself.

He really is adorable.
