Viktor and I walk into a nearby restaurant, my heart still beating abnormally and body still yearning because of what he'd done to me only an hour before.

I took a shower, got ready in an hour; and I still haven't gotten the feeling of him touching me out of my head.

Damn, I hate how this man has so much affect on me.

"Something bothering you, Yuri?" He asks, a smirk plastered on his face when he notices me staring off into space. I jerk out of my thoughts, looking over at him as my face flushed.

"O-oh, no no, I'm fine." I lie, scratching the back of my neck. "I-I'm just, uh-"

"Thinking about earlier?" He whispers into my ear. My eyes shoot open as a darker red fills my cheeks and my lips seal shut.

"N-no.."

"Yuri, you are one of the worst liars I have ever met." He laughs, his fingers playing with mine but not interlocking our hands considering the place we were in. I just sigh, chuckling a little bit despite my flustered expression.

"I guess you're right." I respond.

He leans his head on my shoulder, then completely giving up on keeping our relationship hidden as he laced our hands together.

"I wish we wouldn't of had to stop.."

"V-Viktor." I whisper, giggling. "We can do that some other time, but tomorrow I have to perform. Now get your head off my shoulder before we get kicked out of this place."

"But Yuri.." he whines, tugging at my heartstrings. I almost gave in.

"No, Viktor.." I sigh. "I wish we could do it freely just as much as you do, but we can't."

He just sighs, nodding and taking his head away but not letting go of my hand.

Even though I know it's dangerous, I don't want to let go of it.

So instead, when I feel him start to move it away, I just grip onto it tighter.

"You're such a hypocrite." He laughs, staring into my eyes. I smile.

"I know."

"Excuse me, I can take you to your table." A waitress says, then smiling when we turn our attention to her.

She glances down at our hands, her smile growing a little wider, yet softer.

"Follow me." She says.

She leads us to our table, sitting us down and then handing us both menus.

"Can I get you two something to drink?" She asks, smiling. "Wine's on me."

My eyes widen, and when I look over I see Viktor's just as confused as I am.

"Why?" I ask.

"Why what?"

"Why's the wine on you? Is it a special.. or something?" I ask, not wanting to sound rude.

"Nope." She laughs. "Just because."

I was about to reject, considering she's a waitress and already probably doesn't get a lot from tips, but Viktor cuts in and stops any words from falling out of my mouth.

"Yes please, then. Thank you." He says, smiling. She writes it down, then setting down our tableware.

"Alright." She says, then smiling as she goes to walk away. "I'll have that out for you in just a moment."

I look down at the menu, gasping when I see the price of wine.

"Viktor!" I say, looking up at him. He just chuckles.

"What?" He responds.

"The wine here is awfully expensive, and we just made her pay for that!"

"We didn't make her do anything, Yuri. She offered. And if she offered, then we should take it."

"But Viktor-"

"Listen, Yuri, do you know why she offered to pay for our wine?" He asks, interlocking our hands from under the table. I shake my head, biting my lip. "Because she saw us holding hands. She must of thought we were 'cute' or something."

"Or she was just genuinely nice." I say, glancing away when a light crimson fills my cheeks. "It's rare to come across people that truly support us here these days, Viktor."

"But it's not impossible."

I just glance back up at him, a half smile tugging at my lips and my thumb rubbing soothing circles onto the back of his hand.

"I guess not."

"Yuri, there are people who know we love each other, and they're either willing to accept it, or they aren't. I realized that after you talked to me about it in the hotel today." He whispers, his blue irises almost causing tears to fall from my own eyes. Why does he look pained?

"Growing up in Russia, I've experienced a lot more unaccepting people than accepting." He says, his eyes becoming sadder. "But.. but that doesn't matter, because I'm with you now, and nobody's going to break us apart, right?" He whispers. "Even if for some reason I was forced to stop being your coach, you'd still always be mine and I'd always be yours." He looked as if I said a single thing wrong he could shatter at any second and I didn't want to see the outcome if I did. His voice was cracking, and I could feel his hand starting to tremble a little.

So I smiled.

A real, genuine smile. And I squeezed his hand tighter, scooting a little farther in my seat so I could get closer to him.

"Nothing will separate us, Viktor." I whisper. "Even if you had to go back to Russia, for one reason or another, I'd still love you and hold onto you."

He smiles, then looking away from my eyes and dropping his hand as he glanced up at the waitress. I did the same, trying to make a completely normal face.

"Here's your wine," she says, a soft smile on her face as she placed it down onto the table for us. "Can I get you some food?" She asks, pulling out her notepad.

"Yes, actually." Viktor says. "I'll just have a steak, please. Thanks."

She writes it down, then glancing over at me and smiling. I smile back, glancing down at my menu.

"Uh, I-I'll just have the same, please. Thank you."

"Okay." She chirps, then putting the notepad in her pocket and walking away.

Viktor re grabs my hand from under the table, noticing my sad expression and caressing my hand.

"We'll get through it, Yuri." He whispers, smiling. "I love you more than anything."

I smile, biting my lip to stop myself from breaking down and end up just laughing instead.

"Yeah," I whisper. "I-I love you too, Vitya."
