Weeks pass, and before I know it, the Cup of China is drawing near. It's in a week, and practice has been hard. There's been sweat, bruises, and tears, but also many, many kisses and hugs from the one person I was able to hold onto the entire time.

It's a difficult ride, but it's easier with him by my side.

"Yuri, you good for the day?" Viktor asks me, holding out his hand from the side of the rink as I breathe heavily. "You did great today. Come on, let's go rest in the hot springs."

I sigh happily, then skating over slowly and interlacing my fingers with his as I leave a kiss on his hand.

"Gladly."

He smiles, then walking us towards the lockers and letting go of my hand as I sit down on the benches to take off my skates. I hiss in pain as my sore tailbone hits the seat.

Viktor bites his lip, then walking up behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist as I remove my skates.

"How are you feeling?" He whispers into my ear, rubbing my shoulders gently as he leaves a soft kiss under my ear. "You must feel awful."

I lean into his touch, closing my eyes gently as I sigh and lean against his body.

"I can handle it," I reply. "It's for my hobby, after all."

"I know, but I hate seeing you in pain and stress." He sighs. "I love seeing you smile and hearing the sound of your beautiful laugh."

I blush, my heartbeat growing faster as I reach up and cover my face with my hands.

"Stop, you're embarrassing me.." I whisper, closing my eyes tight. I hear him laugh, then pull my hands away from face and sitting down next to me. He puts his hands on my cheeks, forcing me to open my eyes and stare into a beautiful blue.

"I know." He says, smiling. "But I love it when you blush. You're always so cute."

I blush harder, then groaning as I lean my head on his chest.

"Stooop," I whine. He laughs, rubbing my back with his big, gentle hands and leaving a soft kiss in my hair.

"Okay, okay." He giggles. "But please hurry up and pack up your stuff so we can go home and cuddle."

"Mmm," I say, pulling away and taking off my skates as I sigh. "What happened to the hot springs?"

"Changed my mind. I just wanna cuddle." He pouts, leaning his head on my shoulder. "That's okay, right?"

I smile, glancing over at him before putting my stuff away in my bag and into my locker. I leave a kiss on his forehead before standing up and reconnecting our hands.

"Of course." I respond.

He smiles, then looking away as we walk out the doors. The cold breeze hits my skin as we exit the building, causing me to shiver a little.

Why'd I forget a jacket..

Viktor glances over at me, chuckling.

"Cold?" He asks, moving a little closer. I laugh, nodding.

"Very."

"I can fix that." He states, then taking off his jacket and putting it around my shoulders. My eyes widen.

"V-Viktor, its cold. I'm fine, you need it-"

"No, Yuri." He says, slipping his hand back into mine. "I want you to be warm."

I roll my eyes, but smile. "You really are a handful, Viktor." I laugh.

"Me?" He retorts playfully, pointing to himself and glancing me up and down. "I'm not the one who forgot a jacket."
