Chapter 19

I stare at him with a completely blank expression.

All time frozen. I can barely even blink.

Did my idol and love of my life just ask me to be his boyfriend?

But Viktor is specifically known for never, ever getting into a relationship with someone. So why me?

"Yuri?" He asks, staring back into my eyes. "What, Yuri?"

I continue to stare at him before sealing my lips together.

"Mmmm." I respond.

"What?" He asks, chuckling a little. "Are you okay?"

"Y-y-yeah." I stutter, my face flashing a bright crimson. "I-I'm okay."

He stares at me for a moment before pulling me back into a hug and bringing his lips over to my ear.

"So, your answer?" He whispers. My breath hitches in my throat and my heart feels like it's going to jump out of my chest.

"Y-yes, Viktor."

He sighs happily into my neck and giggles a little.

"Say the words."

"N-no!" I respond.

"I wanna hear them come out of your mouth."

I stand still for a minute before closing my eyes. "I'll be your boyfriend, Viktor."

"There you go." He says, hugging me tighter. "I'm really happy to hear you say that."

"V-viktor..?" I say quietly. He pulls out of the hug we were sharing and takes my wrist, dragging me over to the couch.

"One second." He says happily. He lays down and opens his arms, indicating for me to lay down in them. I blush for a moment and stare at his arms.

He laughs. "Come on, Yuri. Stop teasing." He says. I cross my arms in embarrassment but walk over and lay down next to him, cuddling into his body. He exhales a large breath after I'm in his arms and kisses the top of my head.

"V-viktor?"

"Yes, moye solntse?" He responds.

"H-how long.." I start to say, only to cut myself off in embarrassment.

"Hmm?" He says.

"Never mind. D-don't worry about it." I say, nuzzling my face deeper into his chest.

He gently laughs. "How long have I liked you?"

My face heats up and I nod. "Y-yeah."

"I've liked you since the minute I laid my eyes on you, Yuri." He says, his voice soft yet serious. "Which I still haven't told you about, huh?"

I feel my heart beat grow faster at his words but I look up into his eyes, trying my best to show a smile. "No, you haven't."

"Should I tell you?" He asks, laughing. I chuckle a little.

"Yes, please."

"Well," he says, smiling. "It was quite funny, actually."

"What?"

"You see, we were at the banquet that was held after the Grand Prix last year." He says. I feel my heart sink at the memories of that day but I ignore them.

"Mhm?" I say.

"And you.." He says, laughing. "You got extremely drunk, to put it simply."

I feel my face heat up and the smile on my face lowers a little. "What did I do?"

"You basically had a dance off with Yurio, pole danced with Chris, then grinded on me." He says. My entire body freezes and I show a shocked expression, not saying a single word.

Oh .. My.. God..

"And then you asked me to become your coach. Imagine the thoughts that were running through my head.. I had an adorable little drunken Yuri grinding on me while asking me to be his coach. But somehow, at that exact moment, I started to fall in love with you. I couldn't keep my mind off of you. So I decided I needed to see you again. And now.. we're here."

I lower my eyelids a little and start to feel embarrassed. Sure, I'm really happy he's liked me for that long.. But I did all that? How immature.

"I don't even remember." I say quietly. He laughs a little and then his expression falls sad.

"Damn, I thought that was when our feelings became mutual." He says. I feel a certain emotion surge through me and I put my face in front of his, my expression stern.

"I've been in love with you my entire life!"

My eyes widen and I cover my mouth with my hand. Oh shit.

Not even I had realized that. But I guess it is true, if I really think about it..

His eyes widen and he stares at me, a completely shocked expression on his face. After a couple moments his face falls into a smile and a light blush crosses his cheeks.

"Really, have you now?" He whispers. I lightly nod and a blush crosses my own cheeks. "I'm very happy."

I smile unconsciously and stare into his eyes.

"Me too."

He softly smiles and then brings his face forward, gently planting his lips on mine. I close my eyes lightly and kiss him back, pouring out all my emotions.

For some reason, this kiss felt different from all the others. This one seemed to express so much more love, but yet sending a soft feeling throughout my body. I only then realize I'm still in a towel.

Oh shit.

My eyes shoot open and he does the same, making a confused expression as he looks at the shocked one on my face. "What, Yuri?" He asks.

After a couple seconds I start to laugh, not being able to hold myself back. Viktor shows a shocked face and then puts his hand on the side of my face, smiling.

"You're so cute when you laugh like that." He says. I continue to laugh through my embarrassment and he chuckles a little. "Seriously, what is it?"

"I just realized I still haven't put on any actual clothes." I say. He shows a blank expression for a moment before starting to laugh along with me.

"Oh, yeah." He says. He picks up the clothes that he had dropped on the ground and sits up, handing them to me. "Go. Get dressed."

I stand up, slightly adjusting my towel that luckily never fell off before taking the clothes and walking away.

"You have a nice back, by the way!" He yells after me. A large blush covers my face and I groan playfully.

"Nice to know!"

I look down at the ground as I walk closer to the bathroom door and smile to myself, silently chuckling.

How did that all manage to happen in the span of fifteen minutes?

But I'm grateful. Grateful Viktor took my clothes while I was showering.

Because if he wouldn't of, I would still be worrying about what we are to each other right now.
