Ashton:
You and your best friend lived right next to each other. You had for as long as you could remember.
It was of course pretty amazing to live next to your best friend, you could see each other whenever you wanted, you had pretty much endless sleepovers, and your combined backyard was HUGE! But there were of course some drawbacks, one being that you lived very close to a major road and that scared the bejeebers out of Ashton.
So he set a very clear and obvious square the two of you were not allowed out of. It basically consisted of the property each of your families owned. So there was room, but not a ton. You had a very limited amount of sidewalk which the two of you did not like at the moment.
You see, you along with Y/BFF/N had begun the process of learning how to ride your bikes without training wheels, and Ashton's boundaries didn't give you a lot of room to try.
The two of you were diligent in your efforts nevertheless, and responded to practice every afternoon.
"ASHY! I'M PLAYING OUTSIDE WITH Y/BFF/N!" You yelled, racing out the door.
"BE BACK FOR LUNCH!" He replied from his room.
"OKAY!" You screamed up the stairs as you slammed the door.
