Wattpad keeps on turning off my music when I'm on the app ☹️

Calum:
Living with your brother had its ups and its downs. You loved Calum, but constantly being around him exposed you to scrutiny. He of course wasn't the one watching your every move, it was his fans, and the paps. Oh the paps were awful, they'd occasionally mob you about random 5sos rumors you hadn't even heard.

"Y/N IS CALUM QUITTING THE BAND?"

"Y/N! IS IT TRUE THAT LUKE HAS BROKEN UP WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND?"

"Y/N IS ASHTON DATING CALUM?"

They were all false of course. Well, as far as you knew at least. Luckily it was rare that people you didn't know approached you. Calum had given you a can of pepper spray and the instructions to use it if anyone seriously bothered you, but you became really immune. You were used to random people following you around and sticking cameras or microphones in your face. You didn't think twice when vans of teenage girls drove by slowly a second time too peer at you. You were just very desensitized to the people in your environment.

That proved to be your downfall. You let your guard down, and someone took advantage.

It happened when you were out for a run. You had decided that it was a perfectly good day outside and that you were wasting it indoors. Calum wasn't home, he had to go to the studio, giving you all the more reason to leave the empty house. So you wrote him a quick note in case he arrived home while you were still out and changed into shorts and a tshirt. You put on a running armband which your phone was attached to, cranked up the 5sos album, and then left the house. You honestly didn't generally run all that often, so really it was more of a leisurely jog to take in the scenery.

When you were maybe two blocks into your run, well away from home, you saw the first one. On the sidewalk of the opposite street stood a man in all black. He had on black boots, black sweatpants, and an oversized black hoodie. You thought that his ensemble was a little warm for the season, so you gave him an instinctive second glance. When you tried to see his face you noticed something was very wrong. He had on a white mask. It was a striking contrast to the rest of him. The smooth face had a sadistic smile, leaving only small cutouts for both eyes. As you ran by he swiveled his neck so that you were always in his view.

You should've turned around and gone back home, but you didn't. You were thick skinned and you chocked the encounter up as a pap who didn't want their identity known, or just a really weird guy. So you kept on running on the sidewalk, maybe picking up the pace just a little.

Then you saw another. That one was on your side of the road. Again the person was dressed in all black and had on a white mask to cover their face. This time they were standing in a driveway. You again just thought that there was some kind of neighborhood cosplay you weren't in on, or a weird prank, so you ran a little faster. The person didn't react as you passed them, they simply turned their head to watch you as you went.
