*ACE'S POV*
"You can't let a girl get in the way of this war, Sullivan. So help me if you mess this up I'll lead this thing myself and it may take us to the underworld and beyond, but it's far better than being dragged through a teen drama, you hear?" Cora yelled holding a dagger to my throat.
"You're making way too big a deal out of this sis," Seven said stepping between us and grabbing the dagger from Cora's hands before throwing it at the wall causing it to land perfectly wedged between two pillars.
"She won't distract me okay?" I lied.
"She can't be that important, why do you have such a problem with keeping her out of your head?"
"Cora, have you ever been in love with somebody?"
"No. I don't have time to be distracted."
"Love can be a strength too, you know? Don't look upon love as if it's something that ought not to be meddled with."
"That's deep, man," Seven said wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
I laughed and shrugged him off before approaching the desk on one side of the room.
It wasn't exactly a room. It was technically a parking garage.
We had been exploring down town when we found an abandoned parking garage and decided to use it to train. We gathered other vampires there every day in different groups since we had several hundreds of them that have agreed to fight for us and we train and discuss battle strategy. We practice formations regarding different types of terrains and weather conditions since there is no when and where as to this war. This thing could unfold in Russia and that wouldn't be pretty for anyone.
"What group do we have today?" I asked Cora.
"Group two A. One-hundred turned recruits from sector one of the Hunter association."
"Who's the leader of this sector?"
"Danalrie is the leader and Calum is second in command."
"Okay, so when is Danalrie supposed to show up?"
"No idea."
Two seconds later Danalrie came strutting in, leather clad with a smile on her face.
"You're late, princess. What's got you in such a good mood?" I asked approaching her.
"I'm just ready to do some training, boss."
"Don't call me that."
"Sure," she said with a wink and then walked up the stairs to the next level to train.
I rolled my eyes and looked over at Cora who shrugged and then made her way into the makeshift office putting in earbuds to drown out the noise of combat training.
"Find anything?" I said walking in behind her and taking the earbuds out of her ears placing them around her shoulders.
"Still looking. I got through the firewalls but this is so complex and extraneous and I'm not sure where to look if I'm being honest."
"Let me help," I said sitting beside her and putting in one earbud while she put in the other, smiling at me.
She flipped through her phone as a song I didn't recognize started to play and I didn't allow myself to drift with the music like I always did. Now that I thought about it, I hadn't needed to listen to music in a long time. I didn't hear the pulses anymore unless I focused...It was rather strange. Maybe my thirst for blood wasn't as strong...

Vampiro"Stop!" Kara cried straddling over me and pinning my hands above my head where the gun was out of my reach. I quickly retaliated throwing her under me and cowering over her hearing her melodic pulse in harmony with mine, but I ignored it. "I want to...
