*KARA'S POV*

"I don't want to use my telekinesis yet. It drains my energy," Cora said and tried moving one of the rocks.

"Stop! If you move one, they could all come crashing in and kill us all," Seven said. He was panicked. I wasn't entirely sure what to do either. The door to Cloud's office had been blocked by the debris from the arch.

"Ace, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, Angel, don't worry about me."

Hearing his voice made me feel better. I knew that he was safe now. Seven, Amity, and I began running in the other direction. There were doors everywhere, but the majority of them were locked, and after Seven had kicked down three or four, we discovered that there weren't any windows. We were most likely in the dorm section where the hunters stayed. Although, I wasn't sure how anyone would be capable of stomaching this place.

"There are other floors, but I don't think there's a way out that isn't incredibly high up," Cora stated.

"Well, Cora, you can get down without any damage. Seven and I are human, and if we try to jump from here than we're dead," I stated. We weren't even as high up as we have to go.

"I'll get you. Don't worry," Seven assured, and although I was confused I trusted him. We sprinted up the stairs and down hallways. We were unarmed and running about aimlessly. Of course, if we could find some other hunters, then every single one of them probably carried a scarlet fragment or something. My heart was beating out of my chest as we began tearing through corridors unsure of everything. We reached three floors up and finally found a window, but that's not the only thing that we found. There were hunters in the hallway discussing something.

"Cloud thinks we should release them. Croatia Madrid and the rebels are here too, so better late then never," one man said. He sounded pretty young.

"Well then release them. If we don't, all we have is a bunch of human vampire hunters against who knows what," another man said. He sounded older, and he had just loaded a gun. Seven, Cora, and I were hiding on the outskirts of the hallway that they were in.

"Time me," Seven said before bolting into and out of our hiding place before I even had a chance to start counting. He motioned us to walk up the stairs and we were all met with three unconscious vampire hunters, all of which were armed with weapons ready for the taking.

"Take these," Seven said, tossing me one of their guns. This wasn't a scarlet fragment, but it looked just like it, or at least it looked like it was made of the same material.

"What's this?" I asked, although the fact that it was a vampire weapon was apparent.

"It's called a storm pulse. It uses electric energy, and it does some damage to humans as well, but it acts more like a taser," he stated, and I nodded. It was useful. Sev grabbed a scarlet fragment and a pistol. "If Cloud really is releasing the super humans, we can't use vampire weapons, and they'll probably take a head shot. That's where all their wiring is. Decapitation might work too," he stated. These men were going to release the VHA's worst weapon, so maybe Seven's leaving them unconscious would buy us some time.

I grabbed a holster off of one of the unconscious hunters and out it around my dress, sticking the storm pulse in it. I had a pistol on the other side, and I kept a dagger in my hand for good measure. My hair kept gettin in my face and I didn't have anything to tie it up with. I suddenly had an idea.

"Hey, Cora?" I said, and she turned to look at me. I held the dagger out in her direction and she gave me a funny look.

"Cut my hair," I stated and she looked shocked. Of all of the things that should could looked shocked by.
