*KARA'S POV*
"Like this?"
"No, if you hold your arms too high you get nailed in the stomach."
"So this?"
"No, if you hold your arms like that you get punched in the face."
"So this?"
"Don't crouch like that. You aren't fighting a five year old, Angel."
"May as well be," I muttered while collapsing on a chair in the corner of the room. "We've been at this for hours, can I have a break?"
Ace looked at me for a minute or two with a pitiful grin on his face before flopping on top of me.
"You're getting better, Angel. You just have to keep training," he stated as he curled up in my lap.
"You know, you're more like a pet than a boyfriend."
"I take what I can get," he said simply as he stood up and gave me an outstretched hand. "Let's go on a journey, Angel," he said, mimicking his own words.
"You're really cheesy, you know?"
"I'm romantic. There's a difference," he said and when the realization hit him that I wasn't going to get up on my own, he picked me up and sat me on the ground straight up.
"Just one more hour, and then we're done for the day."
I rolled my eyes in frustration and crossed my arms, but eventually gave in and let him tell me what to do.
Which I hated doing.
"Block this," he stated as he threw a punch, not hard and he wouldn't have hit me anyway, but with enough strength for me to have to put up a genuine block.
I held up both of my arms and blocked it before swinging my leg out towards his to knock him off his feet. Instead, he grabbed my leg and flipped it, causing me to land on my back.
"See? I'm terrible at this," I whined after hitting the ground.
"Angel, you have to keep trying. Just don't give me easy access to limbs in use, otherwise I can use those limbs to my advantage."
"Can I fight someone else?"
"Why won't you fight me?" He asked, helping me up.
"Because you're too distracting," I reasoned, crossing my arms.
"Too distracting?" He said with a hopeful smirk.
"Don't flatter yourself," I laughed before quickly taking stance and swinging my leg under his feet, knocking him to the ground.
"Not bad," he stated and stretched out his hand. When I took it to help him up, he flipped me and I landed with my back on top of his chest.
"That was clever," I groaned, stretching out slowly and pretending to be asleep. His warm breath fanned the back of my neck, sending chills up my spine and along the span of my arms.
"Have I seriously worn you out for today," he asked before locking his arms around my waist and sitting up, leaving me on his lap.
"Yes," I said and stood up as he unraveled his arms from my waist. I sat back down in the chair I was in previously.
"Do you have anything else that you have to do today?" He asked, still remaining seated in the floor.

Vampiri"Stop!" Kara cried straddling over me and pinning my hands above my head where the gun was out of my reach. I quickly retaliated throwing her under me and cowering over her hearing her melodic pulse in harmony with mine, but I ignored it. "I want to...
