I pulled away and took her hands I'm mine, i smiled at her and she smiled back but I could still see she was hurt.
"I'm sorry," I say
"Why did you leave with no explanation?"she says
"I wanted my son back." I say even though I know I may be his biological father but Tom will be his new dad and probably the best dad he is going to get.
"Why didn't you tell me." She says
"I didn't think you'd understand." I say and she hugs me
"I'm your girlfriend of cause I would understand." She says
"No Briar your my fiancé and the best fiancé I could ask for." I say and she looks at me before hugging me again.
I pull away and hand her the box with the bracelet in." She opens it and smiles and puts it on.
"I'm never taking this off." She says and I peck her lips and just smile at her.
"I decided we were going to have a romantic night." I say with a smirk
"Do you mean you want sex?" She asks looking annoyed and I shake my head
"Nope, I just was to snuggle up and watch a film with one of my favourite girls.
"Favourite girls?" She asks worried
"I would say my favourite girl but I'd be 1/2 lying." I say with a giggle
"Your cheating on me?" She asks worried
"No, you and Alicia dim wit." I say and she looks relieved.
"Aww," she says
"You up for a romantic night?" I ask and she smiles.
"I'm always up for a romantic night." She says and gets some pyjamas out.
"Now I'm going to run you a warm, bubble bath so you can relax." I say and kiss her forehead before walking into the bathroom. I run her a bath with bubbles in and put some rose petals in it. I light a nice candle and walk back into the bedroom. I pick Briar up bridal style and walk her into the bathroom. I leave her there and walk into Alicia's room and just look at the little beauty sleeping. I go back to mine and Briars room and sort the bed out so we can lay in it. I decide to watch 'the fault in our stars' since it's so sweet and the story behind it is beautiful. I lay in bed and when Briars finished her bath she lays next to me and we snuggle up and watch the film, occasionally giving each other pecks on the lips. My life couldn't be more perfect.
