There was time for everything, a time for peace, a time for love, and a time for war. We all knew what time it was.
The castle swaed with knights and legions of men . They all looked up to me. They all were ready. I had promised them peace and now we had to fight for it.
I sent spies out to find my uncle and Amina. It wouldn't be long before they returned. There were Large cats at every door accompanied by the best of the elven archers. We were locked down and rightfully so.
I sighed. I hadn't slept in days now. My head ached, my heart burned for his death, my eyes stung from exhaustion.
Aura slipped her arms around my neck and cradled me from behind. She kissed my neck softly.
I had worried her...
"My king...please rest for tonight. You'll be no good to anyone restless." She pulled me onto the bed and wiggled onto my chest. She kissed my lips softly.
"I need to stay alert..." I groaned. She was irresistible.
"You don't looks very alert" she raised a brow and gave me a face I knew I couldn't fight because she was right.
I turned and wrapped my arms around her caressing her. She was as sweet as honey. I buried my self in her body and I felt my heat rise as we started to male love.
I missed every single inch of her from the way her hair smelled to the curves of her thighs. I was engulfed by her.
The night went on and I stayed alert. I did need rest but my people, my kings, and she were more important. I leaned up in the night watching over her fragile frame as she slept, breathing softly. I kissed her and rand a finger across her cheek.
So warm.
I sighed and stood up walking over to the window. There was a breeze. Summer was fading and winter would soon come.
I peered out into the night and spotted a light. It was my men. They were coming back.
I took a deep breath and snarled, I felt my scales shiver from excitement.
I dressed myself as I crept to the door. I took a glance back at Aura before slipping into the night.
The halls felt baren and cold in these hours of the night. Many slept, others watched guard, I was silent and pristine.
I opened the council room doors. The large oak creaked as I entered the room.
There stood my spies.
Delcor a fairy assassin, as swift as the night and deadlier than any of the poisons she used. She was tall and slim with amber hair.
Venus an Elvin archer, he was broad and tall and a perfect shot. His blonde hair hidden away.
Bulmur a half troll half dwarf who served directly under Mullur. He was an explosives expert. He was short and stout and had rough orange hair and a long beard.
Then there was Alvaro, the son of Alvaria. The prince was the spitting image of his mother. Long black hair and sharp features. He was the squadron leader. I trusted him with my life. Though his profession was killing, he could kill ten men in seconds.
They all bowed shrouded in black clothing.y perfect spies.
"My King..." Alvario spoke coming forward. I waved and encouraged them to stand.
"The enemy has a cavern they have built many of the remaining Dragons, a group of dark elves, as well as large cats, trolls, and many more have joined his forces. Their goals are to stop the uniting of kingdoms. He feels that the dragons should rule. He has built up an army. Almost one as large as our own my Lord."
His his voice held loyalty. I smiled.
"You all have done well. I shall assign you all as leaders to different factons as we make our move. I have a plan that will not fail..." I tool a seat in my throne. My uncle had become so predictable. " you weed a snake out of the grass with a mouse...and he will always, always take the bait."
I drifted to sleep there on the throne. Where I belonged.
