Cabinet Tattle (Extra Chapter)

Alex snickered as he walked towards Laf and Herc. "This is going to be awesome!" He squealed, very excited.
The two saw his sly smile and make a questionable face, wondering what Alex was thinking. "What?" They asked in unison. "Jinx!"
Alex held a finger up to his mouth. "Shhh... don't ask!" He murmured to his friends.He slid into his seat at the oval table, obviously at the head since he was the most important.
"Alright kids! Naptime!" Mr.Miranda shouted, smiling at all the kids.
"Yay!" All the kids stood from there tables.
"I'm tired." Alex cooed, and headed to the mats that had gathered in the room. Laf and Alex lay next to each other, Hercules joining the Schuyler sisters. Alex grinned sleepily, it had been a very loooong day.
Finally, unable to keep it in any longer Laf poked Alex's arm. Alex lifted his head from his arms and looked at Laf, his tired eyes squinting. "Alex....!" He whispered.
"What?" Alex asked quietly.
"Why were you so-?" Laf, not knowing the word for how Alex had been acting, made a large gesture with his hands.
The gesture caught Thomas' attention, who was nearby an unable to sleep. He shook James' arm."James... what are they doing?" He asked.
"Shh!" James said, rolling over.
Alex smiled slyly again. "Secretive?" He said to Laf.
"Yea."
"I- let me show you." Alex shoved a hand in his pants' pocket. Then he retrieved the mini-snickers bar he had gotten.
Laf fake gasped, and swooned. Then he looked blandly into Alex's eyes. "So?"
"I- I took them from the cabinet in Mr.Miranda's office." Alex giggled, he rocked back and forth slightly and tapped his feet on the ground.
"What? Al! You could get in serious trouble!" Laf hissed, his voice high and- very french.
Alex made a 'bllloop' noise by blubbling with his bottom lip. "I won't, my dad works here. I'm fine! I promise!"
Laf shook his head, still not trusting the stealing. "This is worse than when Herc stole from the storage room! Or Pegs took Eliza's halloween stuff!" Laf grumbled, rolling over.
"I'll give you a snickers."
Laf whipped his head over his shoulder. "How'd you get the candy?"
"You really wanna know?" Alex giggled.
"Oui!" Laf exclaimed.
Alex smirked. "Alright. Wait for Miranda to take Jade to the bathroom, wake me up when he does."
"Okay."Laf nodded, taking the apple juice that was nearby and sipping while watching Jade. She was one of the newer students and she was too short to reach the bathroom. Everyday since she'd gotten here she had gone #2 during naptime. Laf bit into his snickers, munching happily. Jade raised her hand.Mr.Miranda lifted his gaze from his phone. "Yes Jade?"
"I have to go potty." Jade whined.
Mr.Miranda walked out of the room holding Jade's hand. Laf shook Alex awake. "They're outta here!" He whispered.
Alex lept to his feet as if he had never been asleep. "Follow me!" He said, before running out of the room. He turned the corner and sprinted into Mr.Miranda's door.
"It's locked!" Laf said, turning the doorknob.
"No, just stuck. Jiggle it." Alex said, he pushed Laf out of the way and jiggled the doorknob. The door finally opened. "Halfway there."The two boys sneak into the room on their tiptoes. "Up there- the cabinet." Alex said softly.
Laf bended down so he was on all fours. "Go on.""Okay." Alex climbed onto Laf's back.
Laf groaned. "Ow."
"Sorry." Alex opened the cabinet. There were bags of kit-kats, snickers and most importantly, tootsie pops. Alex quickly snatched three of each candy and shoved them in his pants' pocket. He then hops off Laf's back.
"Aha!" Thomas yelled, and jumped from his hiding spot (behind the door). "I told you." He said, turning to Mr.Miranda, who was standing behind Thomas.
"You tattler!" Alex yelped.
"Well boys, you shouldn't steal. Sorry. But I'm going to have to tell your parents." Mr.Miranda frowned, not wanting to make the boys sad.
