Alex stared at the doctor. He tapped his fingers against his stomach as the doctor took in a deep breath to tell the good news. Every bad thought raced through his head. Do I not get my brother? Do I not get my mother back? Do I not get this big happy family fantasy? He couldn't help it, tears formed in his deep brown eyes. He pulled his hair back into a ponytail so that his ears were free of hair and he could hear very word the doctor was about to say. Despite how much the news would hurt, he needed to hear it.
Laf anxiously hopped from foot to foot when the doctor took a deep breath and prepared to tell them the news. He wants she good news first, because that would mask the pain if Martha or the baby had... Laf gulped. He had only lived with the family for a bit, but they all relied on each other. They were the description of the perfect family. They all were each other's worlds. Georges stomach rolled over. He couldn't breath. No. He couldn't have lost anyone. Not Martha, not his first born blood related child. No. He wouldn't lose them. He stood up, his water bottle spilling onto the floor. Tears rolled out of his eyes as the doctor prepped himself to tell the good and the bad news to the family. It seemed he couldn't do it quickly. George wanted it to be like pulling a bandaid off. Losing somebody would hurt inevitably. Could he just find out?
Hercules saw all three Washington family members be torn to pieces when the doctor took a deep breath. He stared in horror as Alex, one of hos best friends, and Mr. Washington, his favorite teacher (don't tell Mr. Miranda!) both cried softly before the news was said. They had either lost a mother/wife or a child/sibling. Hercules stood fiercely. "Just spit it out already!" He snapped at the doctor.
