The man Martha has previously spoken to stepped out of the double doors and turned his attention to the family. "You're puppies are here."
The family of five stood up, along with the woman they knew as Katherine. Alex jumped in the air and clapped his hands. "Oh boy oh boy oh boy!" He said, extremely excited. He rushed to the man. "Where is he?" Alex peered behind the man to see, no Oliver there. "Where where where?" He practically demanded.
The man chuckled, a small smile appearing underneath his thick mustache. "Let's wait for the rest of 'em why don't we?" He suggested, and placed a hand on the bouncing boy's shoulder in an attempt to calm him.
George handed Anna to Martha and walked up to Alex and the man. "Let's go!" He chimed, swinging his arms by his sides.
"What about them?" The man said gruffly, he gestured to Anna, Laf and Martha with the hand that wasn't on Alex's shoulder."They aren't coming." George said pleasantly, he smiled at the man, who was a few inches shorter. George loved when he was taller than people, which happened very often. It gave him a sense of comfort when he knew he could beat him in a fight.
The man nodded. "I see. Well, right this way." He turned to lead the way to where ever Oliver was.
Katherine hurried through the double doors with Alex and George. The man lead them past a few large metal machines, that scared Alex slightly, and past a bunch of boxes and letters. There were a few workers standing around, discussing something about politics. Alex heard one man say 'Stupid Bernie-bros.' before he was whisked along by George and Katherine. Alex followed the man until he reached a small little pet crate. Yapping and whining could be heard from inside, and the man bent down to open the cage. Out came a tumbling wiggling adorable ball of fur. "Oliver!" Alex shrieked. Alex dropped to his knees and hugged the small creature, who sniffed Alex's ear before giving it a small lick.
Katherine looked inside the crate to see another, quivering little puppy. "Come here Liv. Here Livi." She cooed, the dog walked towards her slightly, and Katherine swooped her up in her arms.
Alex stayed with his arms around Oliver, as Oliver's tongue ran over Alex's ears, nose, lips and closed eyelids. "Kisses." Alex giggled, he ran his hands through Ollie's fur. "Ollie kisses."
