[Just letting you know that I'm not home, so I don't have a laptop, so I didn't check for any mistakes in this chapter. I'm sorry if there are a lot of mistakes. Oh and please read the A/N at the end of this chapter, it's an important explanation.]

She was awake, but refused to open her eyes, preferring to stay tangled with Killian as he continued to sleep peacefully. Eventually she couldn't resist to take a quick peek at him, realizing how lucky she was when she saw the huge smile plastered across his face. Seeing his nose tucked into her hair, which was spread out over both their pillows, made her mind drift back to the moment where it all started two weeks ago.

"Can I say something strange?" He asked, although he didn't expect an answer from her, and his expectations became reality when she didn't. She looked at him expectantly, going through every possible thing he could say inside her head, but she had never guessed this. "I'm happy." He smiled.

A warm feeling that contained a hint of happiness filled her stomach as flashes of his adorable face when he said it remained floating through her memories. "What were you thinking about?" His sleepy morning voice caught her attention and she rolled on her side to face him.

"Nothing," His pupils dilated until there was hardly any blue left in his iris as he scanned her face. "Just bringing back happy memories." She ensured him, fidgeting with his hair at the nape of his neck as his hand trailed up and down her spine.

"How about we go on a date tonight?" He suggested, hoisting his head and resting it in the palm of his hand. "You can see it as a second first date?" He explained, although he got the message across more like a question.

"A first date?" She asked, looking at him skeptically as her lips formed into a small, mischievous smile. "Don't you think it's a bit late for that?" He shrugged, brushing it off. "I mean, I have already seen you shirtless. Multiple times. Shirtless. All the time." She walked with her fingers over his bare chest to reason her statement as he shook his head, chuckling.

"Like it or not," He grabbed her hips, swinging his leg over her waist and crawling on top of her. "But I'm talking you out on a date tonight." He leaned down and brushed his nose against hers before she pecked his lips.

"I love you." She whispered into his ear, placing her hand on his shoulder blade. He pulled away instantly, staring at her with disbelieving eyes and an utterly shocked face expression. He despairingly searched for appropriate words in order to form his response when he realized the suitable way was to say it back.

"I love you, too." He grinned, an extensive smile plastered across his lips. Her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree as the sparkle they contained inverted the sun beams, which peeked through the blinds, into love for the man who was hovering over her.

She slipped out of bed without another word, knowing he would withhold her from going if she put it up for debate. "Where are you doing?" He asked stricken, his gaze fixed on every single movement she was performing.

"Leaving you." She giggled, digging into a drawer of his closet in the hope she would encounter a pair of his extremely comfortable sweatpants.

"That's cruel and unfair." He pouted, climbing off the bed himself before approaching her. He slid his arms around her slim middle and pulled her back against his front. "Cruelly unfair."

The rest of the morning went smoothly, the hours barely contained more than them eating, kissing and cuddling all the time. Emma only had two hours of classes today and knowing Killian he would probably get bored, search for ways to entertain himself, but fail miserably and just give up. While he could also explore the city instead, but obviously that thought didn't cross his mind. However, when she arrived back at what was now their home, he was nowhere to be found.
