Grandmama was finally settled in at the old age home. It took a lot to get her comfortable but eventually she agreed. It was a painful sight to see but I had no choice. She left me no choice.

That very same night my heart was bleeding for my grandmama. I felt terrible about what I had done to her so I wanted to go and see her. I woke up from my sleep and shook John.

"John. Baby?"
"Mhmm?"
"I have a bad feeling about grandmama. I need to go and see her."
"She's fine where she is. Let her be. Please."
"John, please."
"Just take the car, sweetie."
"I can't drive. You know that."
"Well, honey we can't wake David at this time. It's not an emergency. Let it go and we will see her tomorrow morning."

I had to make a plan. I couldn't believe he had just said that to me. So I stepped out of bed. I put on a morning gown and grabbed the keys of the Mercedes ML. I didn't know what I was doing but I was going to do it anyway.

I walked down the stairs into the garage and saw the car. I stopped and took a deep breath.

"Gwen. You can do this." I said to myself.
I stepped into the big car and adjusted the seat. I started the car and heard its roar. That made me twice as nervous. I turned the gear knob into D and I slowly released my foot from the break. At least that's how I saw my fiancé do it. I slowly drove out of the garage.

I drove to the gate. I stopped and pressed my remote to open the gate. I drove out and let the gate close. It seemed easy because all I did was softly press the accelerator. I drove quite well but I needed to practice the way I hit my brakes. I found myself at the windscreen every time I hit my brakes.

There was no traffic and the road was straight forward. After a smooth drive I got into town and the road became bumpy. I didn't know what to do with the steering wheel and a huge truck was approaching me. I panicked. I swerved out of control from the left to the right. All I saw was bright lights and all I heard was a hooter.
