I had asked David to take me to my house. I needed to see grandma and I needed Bandz to teach me how to drive. We pulled up outside and I walked out.
I walked to the door and knocked "Anybody home?"
I walked in as if it wasn't my house anymore. Bandz was helping grandma with her injured knee.
"Hey" I smiled as I stood at the doorway of the TV room.
They looked up at the same time.
"Gwen." Bandz said.
"How are you?" I asked him.
"I'm okay. I thought you had everything of yours."
"I do."
"So?"
"I need your help, Bandz."
He waited for me to finish my sentence. "I need to learn how to drive."
"Oh, I'm sure your new man can teach you that."
"He doesn't have the time. Please, Bandz. Name the price."
"Excuse me?"
"I will pay you. Or he will."
"Look at you." He whispered. "I don't know who you are anymore. Since when do you believe money can buy you out of anything? You're a damn shame, Gwen." He walked away from me.Grandmama wasn't even trying to look at me. I could see she was in pain emotionally and physically. What was I to do?
I followed Bandz to the bedroom.
"Benedict, I'm not asking you for much. I just need a couple of lessons. I can't keep using David all the time."
He didn't say anything to me.
"I won't do it."
"Please." tears fell from my eyes.
"Go to your man..." He paused. "Go to your man. Tell him to do his fiancé duties with you. Don't you remember? I am NOT your fiancé anymore." he continued.
He walked away from me again and I felt my heart breaking. How did things become so bad?I decided it was best to leave and go back to the mansion.
At the mansion, I decided to make dinner. I was still upset at how John didn't defend his case earlier on in this office today. He walked in.
"Hey beautiful."
I gave him one look and started chopping the veggies viciously.
"Not talking to me?"
I pretended he wasn't there.
"Fine then."
I remained silent and he went upstairs.Dinner was ready but I didn't dish up for anyone. I went upstairs to our bedroom to take a shower. John was downstairs. I heard the door bell ring and I didn't think much of it.
10 minutes later I realized I needed a carrot to snack on so I walked downstairs in my night clothes. I knew he had company but I couldn't believe my eye when I saw who it was.
