My purse and keys fell out of my hands and the tears rolled down my face. The man I genuinely love was making love to my bestfriend, Linda. I didn't know what to do or what to feel. A certain type of anger built up inside me. Bandz tried to justify what he was doing.

"Gwen. It's not what it looks like."
"I want you to pack all your things and go back to your house."
"Excuse me."
"You heard me. I didn't stutter." I sniffed.

Linda interfered.

"No, Gwen. Are you angry that you caught him with me or are you angry that he's doing it in your bed in your house?"
"Get out of my face, you two faced --"
"Me? Two faced? I'm not the one who was engaged to two men at one time! You cheater!"
"Alright. You want to play dirty with me? You want to go down that road?" I rushed to the kitchen and pulled out a glass bottle from the cupboard.

When I got back to the bedroom , Linda and Bandz were getting dressed.

"Did you say something, Linda?" I used a mean sarcastic tone.
"Gwen what are you doing with that bottle, put it down!!!" she said.
Bandz began to defend her by trying to hold me back with the bottle.
"You get out of my way!"
"Gwen, please! Don't hurt her!" he yelled.
"Is she the girl you were telling me about! Huh??? is she?"
"Yes! She's my girlfriend! I'm in love with her!"

Those words shocked me and I froze. I slowly put the bottle down and stared into Bandz's eyes.

"You love her?" I sobbed softly.
"Yeah. I had to move on. I wasn't going to wait for you to come around."
"After all we've been through?"
"You weren't coming around."
"What if I was, Bandz?" I cried harder.
"Look.  Me and you are through. You're getting married. You have a man." he said.
"A man I haven't made love to! You couldn't even wait for me to pick a wedding date and gown and you were already in someone else's panties? How cruel are you? I didn't let him touch me babe. He has never slept with me. I told him only after marriage. But you? You just couldn't wait. Are you going to marry her, Bandz? Huh?"

Bandz didn't say a thing. He looked from her to me, from me to her.

She walked up to us "Bandz. Please." she said before running out of the house.
Bandz didn't hesitate to run after her. That is when I knew I had lost him. He was out of my life. I had to get him out of my life and move on with John.

I packed all his bags for him and threw them out of my house. All of them. I threw them out with tears in my eyes.

This house. That used to be so filled with joy was now empty with coldness and heartbreak. Every room had a memory. Where we made love, where we shared our dance, where we fought then made up. It was all too painful. So I searched for the keys, found them and locked everything up.

I was going to sell this house in a week.
