I woke up yet again to an empty bed. My fiancé had not returned. I picked up the phone to call him but it sent me to voicemail. I left him a message
"Hey honey, I haven't heard from you. How's the business meeting? I miss you. Call me soon as you get this. Love you...bye."
I freshened up and put on my golfing clothes. A pink Polo golf shirt and short skirt with Adidas sneakers and a Versace cap.
I went downstairs and greeted Christina."Madam? You no stay for breakfast and for interior designers for wedding?"
"Uhm...no Christina but I will be back now now." I grabbed an apple and skipped out of the house happily.I skipped out of the gate and run to the van. I hopped in and shut the door.
"Ready for today?"
"Yes." I smiled happily. Our driving lesson went extremely well today, in fact I had caught on! Bandz was so proud of me!
We stopped at an open park and we took a walk.
"You remember it?" He asked
"I do." I looked up at the blue sky.
"You were so afraid of the swings."
"Haha I was not. I just didn't want you pushing me on them. You were too rough and tough." I giggled.
"Yeah right." He punched me.
"Ow!! Take that you whimp!" I punched him back.I tripped and we both fell on the grass. I was on top of him. We stared into each other's eyes and just as we were about to kiss he stopped me.
"I can't. I have someone in my life now , Gwen. We can't. I should take you back."
"Oh yes...uhm... I'm sorry. I forgot. Take me home, that's right." I cleared my throat while shaking the grass off me.We walked to the van in silence. He drove me back to the corner and I waved goodbye. I felt my heart sink the whole walk back to the mansion.
When I arrived there were more cars outside.
"What the..." I said to myself.I walked in and my sisters both welcomed me in "Darling! Here you are."
"What's going on guys." I asked perplexed.
"Why , you should be upstairs preparing for you engagement party."
"That's tonight?"
"Yes." Tiffany said.
"I will go up and...but I don't have a dress."
"But you have a generous hubby."
"I haven't heard from him in days."
"Well he has imported something for you. Now go get ready. Tiffany pushed me upstairs.
