ROSE'S POV

Albus, Alice and I sat together during the ride and had just started to discuss which house we'll probably get in, when the compartment door slid open.

"D'you mind mind if I join you? everywhere else is full." Said a tall, pale, grey eyed boy with platinum blond hair, whom I suddenly recognised as Scorpius Malfoy. He too seemed to recognize me just then. "Uh its ok if you don't want me hear I'll find somewhere else." He turned around with a saddened expression.

Al stood up just then and reached out his hand  "Don't be silly, there's no need for that. Just because our parents didn't get on well, doesn't mean we don't have to. I'm Albus Potter, please join us. " The boy seemed stunned at these words, yet shook Albus's hand.

"Absolutely! I totally agree. I'm Rose Weasley. Pleasure." I said smiling warmly. He immediately grinned back at me.

"Alice Longbottom " said Alice patting the seat beside her, "Please, sit down."

"Thanks a lot. People out there haven't acted remotely the same way as you guys did. They mostly just judge me by my father's character." He said sitting down. "Honestly, I am not anything like him." He added hastily seeing the look on our faces.

"Don't worry we won't judge you on who your dad or mum was, believe me. We have all been through that" I said. Understanding exactly what he meant.

"Yeah people just go all 'ooh are you Neville Longbottom's daughter? You must be so good at Herbology!' and I'm like whoa look I can't differentiate between a snargalpuff pod and a cactus"

This seemed to lighten Scorpius's mood considerably. The rest of the journey was filled with laughter and talking till a prefect came and told the three to change into their school robes, as we'd be arriving at Hogwarts soon. As the train came to a halt, I shook with excitement.

We were here. The place I had longed to attend since Teddy came. At Hogwarts.
