WARNING: It's a little sad, sorry 😭. I'm working on Part III now. Should there be a happy ending? 🤔

Song: You Should Be Here

Artist: Kehlani

The house was eerily quietly. No words were exchanged between Y/N and Keith. The aurora had changed dramatically since Y/N had blew up on Keith. When she didn't receive a response back, it felt like somebody had stabbed her in the heart. Keith didn't feel the same. He didn't feel anything at all. They were strangers.

"I'm about to leave. Do you need anything while I'm out?" Y/N asked. She found comfort in looking at the carpet rather than Keith's face. She twiddled with her thumbs as she waited for his response. She sighed when the silence carried out for a little too long. Her head slowly rose up and she was met with those deep brown eyes. Her eyes started to water. Her lip tucked in as she tried to regain herself. She quickly looked down as she felt the first tear drop. Y/N's head was lifted and she was forced to look at him. His thumb brushed away her tears gently. Y/N's eyes closed as she felt her cheeks warm up. She missed this so much. His lips pecked her multiple times. Y/N felt like her heart dropped but Keith couldn't seem to feel anything. He slowly pulled away and stared intently at Y/N. He watched her emotionless eyes lit up and her cheek concave into a dimple.

"I'm good. Thanks." Keith's deep voice broke the silence in the room. Y/N nodded, her smile still on her face as she grabbed her keys and walked out the door.

Once the door closed, Keith sat on the bed with his hands on his head. He didn't know how much longer he could keep it up. His hands reached for his nightstand. He shuffled through the papers until he stumbled upon a bottle of pills.

Keith twirled the bottle between his fingers. The bottle was full. He couldn't bring himself to take the pills anymore. He hated the way it made him feel. His body was always tired and his mind always filled with lies. It was making him crazy. He missed when he was happy and willing to wake up another day.

Y/N roamed around the store placing items in the cart. She walked passed the pharmacy and slowly moved backwards. She figured she would fill up on her medications and see if Keith needed a fill up too.

"Hi, I'm here  to pick up my medications and my boyfriends. Last names L/N and Powers." Y/N politely said while handing over her ID.

The pharmacist clicked away on the keyboard. She pulled up Y/N medicine with no problem but when she stumbled on Keith's prescription she had a look of confusion on her face. "Ma'am you're all set but your boyfriend's prescription hasn't been filled in over 6 months."

Y/N was shocked. She quickly grabbed her things and walked away. Everything started to make sense.

Y/N sped home to confront Keith. She barge through the door. Her voice echoed through the house as she screamed. "Keith, Keith, WE NEED TO TALK NOW!" Y/N got her usual response; nothing.

Y/N grew frantic. The last time he stopped taking his medicine they ended up in the hospital. The signs were more visible too.

"Keith, baby. I need you to answer  me." Y/N voice trembled. Her hands wouldn't stop shaking. Her heart was beating fast. She couldn't think straight. Her ears perked up when she heard groaning from upstairs. "No, no, no," Y/N whispered while she let her body direct her towards the noise. When she reached the bathroom door, her hand quickly went to her mouth and the tears fell. She couldn't digest what was in front of her.
