Part II to We Can't Be Friends. Enjoy! I think my imagines are cliche and predictable. Let me know what you think.

Song: In My Mind
Artist: Heather Headley
The wind walked alongside Y/N, blowing her curls onto her face. She moved the curls out her face as she hugged her thin sweater closer to her body. The street was quiet and dark, the only thing that illuminated her face were the streetlights. Her mind wished she used her car tonight because the temperature was her enemy right now - it continued to drop. Her shivering hands pulled at a gleaming handle as she walked into the restaurant. Instead of meeting with the aroma of greasy food she was met with an all too familiar aroma. Musky scent of Yves Saint Laurent cologne. A hand wrapped around her waist as the individual tried to prevent Y/N from falling. Y/N looked into Keith's soft brown eyes and her mind started to replay all the memories they shared. His mind wandered too. He reminisced about the way her plump lips felt on his or how her melanin skin would blush when he would whisper 'I love you' in her ear. They were both stuck into a trance until Keith's girlfriend politely cleared her throat. Y/N snapped out of her thought and jumped back, tripping over the nothing - quickly catching herself before Keith had the chance to send an electrical feeling in her body again. Her heart was pumping way faster than normal and her hands were shaking and Y/N knew it wasn't from the cold weather. Keith's girlfriend, Iman, could feel the tension between the two and she could tell from Keith's face that the girl in front of her was Y/N. She was jealous because Keith's face was red and it showed adoration for the beauty standing in front of them. His hands were clammy and the loud mouth man was suddenly silenced in the presence of the woman. Iman was jealous. She never got that from him and she desperately wanted it. She roughly grabbed his face and turned his face towards him. Her lips pressed against his as she nibbled on his lips, making sure to look at Y/N's face. Y/N face burned up at the sight of him and his girlfriend kissing. With her head down, Y/N pushed past the couple and into the restaurant where her best friend sat waiting for her.

It's been a couple weeks since the incident at restaurant and Y/N found herself zoning out all time just thinking about Keith. She currently sat in her closet with a wine glass in one hand and a photo in her other. Smiles were scattered on the floor as Y/N looked through every single one. They were so in love back then. Her smile no longer matched the one she was looking at right now. A tear splashed onto photo - Y/N ran her hand through her hair, leaning back and closing her eyes. The ringing of Y/N's doorbell caused her eyes to shoot open. She quickly placed the photos back into the box before rushing to the door.
When Y/N opened the door, she was surprised to see who was standing there.
"Mrs. Powers, what are you doing here?" Y/N asked, confused.
"I told you about calling me Mrs. Powers and I'm here about Keith. Every since his break up with Iman he's been acting different. Could you talk to him? He could use a friend right now. It's still the same number." Mrs. Power smiled warmly at Y/N. Y/N smiled weakly, Her heart was pounding at the mention of Keith breaking up with his girlfriend but she knew it wasn't the right time.
"Mrs. Powers, that's just not my place anymore and you know that. You have to stop coming around. It just makes it much harder for me to move on." Tears grazed Y/N's eyes. She looked at ceiling to conceal how weak she was feeling. She didn't want to seem vulnerable in front of Keith's mom. Unfortunately, Mrs. Powers could see right through Y/N. Every time Mrs. Powers was around Y/N and she mentioned Keith, her whole demeanor changed. Her eyes lit up and a smirk would appear on her face as she looked down. Keith's mom knew Y/N was still in love with her son.
"I'm sorry I bothered you. If you do get a chance, call him. I'm sure he will appreciate it." Desperation was evident in her voice as the older women turned around as walked off the property that was once shared between the two stubborn lovers.
