Fuck! She wants to see me shirtless.

I immediately want to take a second cold shower, but think better of it. I am already showering twice a day and I know it dries my skin out, so I refrain.

Immediately I text back.

Your wish is my command ;)
Maybe we could study together some time this week? :)

I instantly take up the opportunity of us studying together in order to spend more time with her. I know I will see Haley in school during the week and that we have classes together, but I also know it will not be enough. I am already addicted to Haley Scott and I do not plan to do anything about it.

When I tell Chase that I will go running with Haley this evening and that Laura is at her house right now he bombards me with questions I should ask Haley later on.

"Wohw Chase! I know you like Laura a lot, but a few things you have to find out on your own! Or here's a better option: ask her!", I tell him amused after Chase kept telling me for five minutes what to ask Haley.

Chase blushes, actually blushes, and admits: "It's just that I told Laura I'd take her somewhere special on friday and I want everything to be perfect!"

I smile at him and suggest: "Do you know her favourite flowers or something like that?"

Chase nods and realizes where I am going with this question. His face lights up and he hugs me.

"You're a genius!", I exclaims.

"Maybe you should talk with mom about this, because all I know, I know from her.", I tell him and he gives me a thump up, before he rushes to find my mom.

I try to concentrate once again on my notes from Mr. Terman's class, but when my phone dings I know that my attention is on something, or rather someone, entirely.

I feel proud that Haley rememberd my grade from last year. That means that she actually paid attention to me before. I hope she does not find it creepy that I know she plays volleyball, but since Halley is really good at it, it should not surprise her.

I remove all the books and the notes from my desk and put it into my bag, so that I would have it for tomorrow.

Then I change clothes and I try to decide if I should go shirtless or not. I want to and I know I promised her, somehow, but I do not want to make her uncomfortable again.

I chose to go without a shirt, because that is how I go running every time. Nothing special, except the girl of my dreams is seeing me. I know Haley already saw me shirtless the first time, but this time is different. Now Haley has to be aware of my feelings somehow and I know she feels something for me as well, even if it is just the slightest bit. This thought makes me smile and my heart accelerates on its own.

I enter the kitchen to see my mom and Chase in a conversation about flowers. Chase does a double take on me and mutters: "Really trying to impress her!"

My mom, who thought nothing of me being shirtless at first, now shoots me a curious gaze and I try to ignore it and tell them: "I'll go running with Haley, don't wait up."
