A week had passed by after Kian declared he would be leaving Shade Academy. In the span of the whole week, a lot of things happened.
Since he couldn't enter an academy once again after he graduated, he spent most of his time taking lessons from Professor Perch. He even requested a few books regarding enchantments and dark element application. The lessons also served as spending time with Shawn and Bea.
He also didn't try to increase his levels but familiarized himself with he various skills that he and Xian acquired. Most important of all was the Blink Skill which can be used as a lifesaver in life-threatening events. He also created usefully skills that not only could be used to fight but also support his body.
At the market, Kian and Xian stood in front of a ten meter tall and wide black sphere hovering above the ground. They wore contemplating expressions. The owner of the shop was tapping his feet with impatience as he glared at the two.
The floating sphere was called a Mobile Pod. It can serve as a transportation and at the same time, a dwelling. There were also others like this one behind but they were obviously smaller. A small price tag that said '75K RS' was plastered on its shiny surface.
"Are you going to buy or not? You've been standing here for almost an hour. If you're not going to buy then leave. I still have a few customers waiting outside" the owner of the shop which was a chubby middle-aged man said, annoyance was obvious on his face and tone.
Kian sighed and looked at Xian who nodded at him.
"Were going to buy this one!" Kian said noncha while waving his hand at the owner as if he was someone young master.
His attitude pissed off the owner even more but since Kian was a customer, he didn't say anything and just took down the plastered price tag.
After Kian paid for the Mobile Pod, he and Xian left the market with dissatisfied expressions.
The overflow caused a large number of players to become rich overnight. Prices for materials and potions decreased which was a reason for delight among the players. However, prices for treasures and weapons instead increased.
For a person who was about to start a journey, this was not something that Kian would be happy for. Thankfully, he was right now all packed ready to go. With the Mobile Pod, he would be able to travel almost unhindered at any terrain as long as there were no strong monsters to disturb him.
Tomorrow was the day that he was about to leave so he planned to spend the day resting.
When he returned to the dormitories, he noticed that a familiar figure stood at his room's door. It was Beautiful who had an anxious expression on her face. It seems she's also whispering a few words and her face was red.
It seems she still haven't noticed him. A mischievous idea formed in his head and he slowly went behind her.
"Booo!" he suddenly grabbed her shoulders and shouted.
"I like you Kiaaa-!" she couldn't help but shout from shock.
She quickly turned around to see at the assaulter. Her eyes widened like saucers as soon as her eyes landed upon the guy behind her who was also stunned.
"H-hey!" he said awkwardly and slowly took back his hands away.
Bea was now red and she couldn't help but back away. She turned her back to him and went silent.
