Following the blinking signal on his mini map, Kian was quickly able to locate where Keiko was located. When arrived at the place, he noticed that it was actually a huge peerless building. It looked a bit new but it seems that no one was using it from the slight dust that settled on the surfaces of the furnitures.

He heard screams and sounds of fighting from the second floor. Without bothering to be polite , he quickly stormed his way upstairs and reached the place where the fight was taking place.

Surrounded by more than ten Excelcis was Keiko who was almost breathless. Judging from her pale complexion, it seems that she was near her limit. When she saw Kian arrive, her face turned bright with delight but was quickly replaced with a look of realization and guilt.

"No. Quickly leave this!There are actually more of them here!" She screamed as she fired a knife made of blue Psyche energy to an incoming Excelcis who parried the attack with some difficulty.

"What? Why should I do?" Kian sighed. Now that he saw an acquaintance that was about to be killed, can he till tell himself to leave?

He shot a glare at the Excelcises. It was the first time he had seen so many of them gathering together.

The glass windows suddenly broke before three more of them came in with cold indifference on their eyes.

"Tsk!" Kian clicked his tongue and took out his pistol. Without wasting any time, he shot multiple bullets that carried with them the Haze skill.

In an instant, the place was already dark from the thick black fog that permeated every corner of the building. His attacks didn't stop there though. With sheer determination to kill on his eyes, he fired multiple Phantom Bullets at their heads.

The bullets quickly landed upon their heads. Unexpectedly, they didn't die but just got a ten percent reduction in their health points. When Kian was already finished his attacks, the Haze was already gone.

Since he couldn't afford to lose his advantage, he quickly fired more haze. However, the enemies were already prepared. It seems they have a way to detect him. A few swords and bullets made of Psyche energy came flying towards his direction.

Before any of the attacks landed on his body, he quickly teleported away from his position and then fired another round of Phantom Bullets.

Keiko who was able to catch her breath after Kian's interference didn't stand idle either. She created a saber on her hand and slashed at a male Excelcis' chest which took a lot of his health points away.

Upon seeing how effective her attack was, Kian realized that normal elemental attacks wouldn't work on the Excelcis. His mind quickly spun dozens of ideas on how to deal with them before he came with a particular move.

Kian charged a lot of his Psyche energy on a Phantom Bullet and shot it to a nearby Excelcis. The Excelcis erected a shield but the bullet passed through it much to his surprise and hit his chest.

Unlike the previous attacks, the latest Phantom Bullet shaved off three times more HP. As Kian was about to celebrate, a slash that came from a Psyche Katana made its way into his back.

His mind went blank and his vision became dark for a moment. When his gaze landed upon his HP, he noticed that the attack didn't really dealt much damage. However, his mind was now in shambles and he couldn't quite balance himself.

At that time, another slash was about to come his way. He couldn't do anything but brace himself for the incoming attack. However, a sudden force that lifted him off the ground took him by surprise.

When he came back to his senses, he discovered he was already in the arms of a familiar young woman with long purple hair. When their eyes met, she shot him a glare before she eyed Keiko who was only a few meters away from them.

"So my boyfriend is actually attempting an affair..." She smiled slightly at Kian.

"Hell no!" Kian quickly reacted, his pace a bit pale fron her misunderstanding.

"I was joking!" Alexa laughed and then placed him to the ground. After that, she quickly launched multiple shots of shark like fists on the air. Each of them sent an Excelcis flying into the air but to her surprise, they barely did them any damage.

"It's no use. Only attacks coated with Psyche Energy can damage them. Stall them with your crowd control skills while we will finish them off!" Kian told her as he stabilized himself on the ground.

"What? That's so unfair!" Alexa complained but then sighed. She used her crowd control skills to stop the Excelcises from attacking as she waited for Kian and Keiko's turn to attack.

Kian  took this an opportunity. He shot more Phantom Bullets to the Excelcis that he dealt a lot of damage just a minute ago. The Excelcis' HP was slowly drained away until it dropped to zero.

After a slight pause, the Excelcis exploded into pieces of light. His inverted eye crystals however stayed and shot towards Kian. They merged into his own turning the tri-colored crystals a little bit darker in color than before.

A sense of coolness and refreshing feeling spread throughout his body. A sudden rise in his experience bar which he hadn't seen in a long time occurred. His mind also felt a little bit clearer and the spent psyche energy was recovered.

He marvelled at this feeling a sense of renewed vigor ignited his waning spirit once again. With a loud battle cry, he charged forward to the enemies and began a slaughter.
