In a room located inside the secret base, a group of people were gathered around as they discussed seriously. At the center was a table were a pillow placed on top. On the pillow laid an bony orb with a black crystal halo that hovered on top of it.

"It seems that we really need to find a few fortisians. He's been waking up a lot these past few days to tell us to find some horns." Mayne said, his face serious and troubled.

It has been a week since the incident regarding the black crystal halo yet they still couldn't find a way to locate some fortisians. They couldn't be found when it was the turn of the humans to hunt them. Moreover, they also couldn't stay for too long outside because of the heat.

"Man. They appear in batches before but they're nowhere to be found when we need them." George whose hands were folded said.

"It's not like we don't know some of their stations but these places are surrounded by multiple space and time distortions. These natural barriers can easily kill us." Fidel sighed and showed them the coordinates of a few bases on the screen.

"It's okay...I'll take care of the dangers..." The bony orb spoke which startled the others.

The voice was familiar to them. It was Kian's. He rarely spoke to them since he had to focus on keeping the bone covering from chipping off.

"Okay. I'll go to the nearest base with you." Alexa said and carried the bony orb into her arms.

In their search for the fortisians, it was mostly her and George that lead the operations followed by the others. There were a lot of people who opposed their decisions and wanted the stronger ones to participate instead but they didn't want to just sit around and wait for help.

After the people inside saw her determination, they didn't say anything further and started to plan for their next operation.

A day later, a small group of humans consisting of Alexa, George, Mayne, and ten more people arrived at a certain mountainous area. Ahead of them was a barren valley where waste materials from electronic objects formed mountains. This valley was the location of one of the enemy's bases.

As the group moved forward, they would often encounter invisible spatial and time distortions. However,  a wave of psyche energy would always meet with them first which would then reveal them to the eyes of the humans.

An hour later, the group of humans halted their steps as they came face-to-face with a colossal metallic monster that towered up to at least a hundred meters tall. It had a spider like appearance which made it look very menacing.

This thing was one of the Fortisian race's fortresses built on Earth. According to reports, more than two hundred fortisians were seen leaving it before when it descended into this valley.

The bony orb with a crystal halo hovered on the air and released a barely traceable wave of energy that encompassed a kilometer radius around them.

"There!" Kian's voice sounded out from the bony orb. A small blue arrow made of psyche energy appeared and pointed to a certain direction.

Alexa carried the orb on her arms again before they proceeded to where the arrow was pointed at.

As they traveled, they tried their best to be as careful as possible to avoid being detected by the enemies. To make sure of this, they didn't carelessly approach at least within a hundred meter radius from the fortress.

When the psyche energy arrow dispersed into particles, they found themselves in front of a huge opening in the spaceship. Metallic wastes were thrown out before the doors slowly closed up.

The group were shocked and quite hesitant to enter. They actually had to enter a dumpster! Nevertheless, they still entered through this way as the doors will not wait for them to enter.

They passed through a long tunnel where large metal wastes and even organic wastes could be seen before they arrived at a large room.

The room had large boxes that contained waste materials. It seems to be the waste depository area.

The gates of the room suddenly opened. Two fortisians who were engaged in a conversation entered. They didn't seem as fierce as the ones they have encountered outside before and we're probably just workers to maintain the place.

Right after the gates closed, the two fell to the floor, dead. They were instantly taken out by an invisibly blade of psyche energy that came out of the black crystal halo. Their horns detached themselves from their foreheads and entered the bony orb.

The humans opened the doors of the room and disseminated themselves to different areas they were sure to be a blind spot in the security camera. Carefully, they left those places with a bombs before they met up once again and waited in that room once again.

Half an hour later, multiple explosions occurrence. Screams of panic and alert from the fortisians sounded out across the fortress. The emergency alarm also rang.

As they all wondered what was going on, the group of humans finally decided to take action. With the bony orb taking the lead, the scattered fortisians became preys for slaughter. This continued on until they met with a squad of fortisians who were sent to assess the situation.

"Intruders!" A fortisian exclaimed.

The message was passed to the other fortisians. Intruders actually entered they were actually the weak humans turned half-excelcises. The danger levels they originally thought would be high was instantly lowered. However, they also prepared their weapons in case this was just some plot by the fluctusans.

Howevwr, this group of bony aliens were bound to be surprised. In just a matter of minutes, their whole squad were wiped out by the bony orb alone.

Soon, the humans didn't stay passive and waited for the enemies to come anymore. Instead, they moved and seeked out the fortisians themselves.
